No disrespect to your video but it's difficult to find the ACTUAL demographics for Latin America because in a country like, say Brazil, you may have someone who is mestizo, mulatto or even black actually list themselves as white in a census because they have money or because of their social background. Also a lot of Latinos that are black(D.R. for example) don't consider themselves black and will list themselves as mulatto or other as not to be identified as black when they actually are black.

Brazilians are not considered Hispanic. Brazilians actually use the term "Hispanic" to refer to people with natal and/or ancestral ties to Spanish-speaking Latin America. You're using archaic definition of Hispanic. Modern definition of Hispanic only includes Spanish-speaking cultures.
Hispanics don't consider Brazilians Hispanic either.
Furthermore, the U.S. Census Bureau does not categorize Brazilians as Hispanics, nor do they group Brazilians under the Latino umbrella either.

If you want change the status quo or go against the establishment provide the name of an expert on the subject so you can back up your argument. But when you lie to support your claim, you are only making yourself look bad. And I give out opinions when neccessary, but I just state the facts as well! People do debate this matter at times! Also you make yourself look bad when you claim to be of a certain nationality to make your argument look valid or so that you can win your claim or argument! @BarcelonaArmada Of the two, only Hispanic can be used in referring to Spain and its history and culture; a native of Spain residing in the United States is a Hispanic, not a Latino, and one cannot substitute Latino in the phrase the Hispanic influence on native Mexican cultures without garbling the meaning.

According to this view, Hispanic lacks the authenticity and cultural resonance of Latino, with its Spanish sound and its ability to show the feminine form Latina when used of women.

@BarcelonaArmada While these views are strongly held by some, they are by no means universal, and the division in usage seems as related to geography as it is to politics, with Latino widely preferred in California and Hispanic the more usual term in Florida and Texas.

The whole Iberian Peninsula was united under what is now Spain, but Portugal broke off and hence why they became known as Lusitania!
