    that should have said. =)

  • *Not completely sure the feeling i get just from hearing these words will ever leave me

    that should have said. =)

  • Not completely sure the feeling i get just from hearing these words. Performed at my university and I was completely overwhelmed by the power and love invested in the work, as well as in the performance. The 'lecture' - if you could really call it that - forced me to write again, which is something I hadn't wanted to do for a long time. Come back to Newcastle, we're a lot more fun than any other city ;)!

  • "15 and im offered a joint...."

    Remember that one?

  • is polar bear playing at the cheltenham jazz festival????

Amazing rhyming, heard it ages ago on radio 1 and sooooo glad i found it!

  • @polarbearpoet

I honestly love how you handled that comment. Kudos.

And honestly, I have fallen in love with what you do.

I read and listen to a lot of poetry but you hit this heart with something beautiful.

Are you going to tour in the u.s. anytime soon?

  • @RobJWhite05 I actually cannot believe you are asking where the ability is. You wanna stand up on stage and come out with a funny, musical, poetic, intellectually fantastic story in spoken word? Yeah, then you'll see how hard it is. If you can't appreciate this then maybe you're the "talentless arse monger"?

  • @xFallxInxLuvx Hellloooo. Umm, if you take a look I actually pointed out after his reply that it wasn't me that called the Mr. Polar Bear a 'Talentless arse monger' . I also apologised for the person who did call him a 'talentless arse monger.' Although it might have been in a private message?

  • @xFallxInxLuvx And as a follow up to the comment I just posted, might I just add that as further assurance that it wasn't me, I write spoken word poetry (which was why the person in question was on this page, I'd previously looked at it) which you're welcome to find and if you like, similarly abuse on my write out loud page.

  • @RobJWhite05 Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I must've not read the comment properly :/ I do apologise greatly! So sorry.

I would love to hear some of your spoken word and I'm sorry I don't normally abuse things but that comment that the other person put really got to me.

    Again, apologies.

  • @jbhelh It's completely understandable, it was from my account after all, how were you to know? I can't post links in here, which is..odd but if you head to the website writeoutloud and look for Robinjwhite in the poets showcase, you'll find a badly recorded audio and some other bits and bob written down. Hope you're well.

  • breathe deep as you flow, remember where you were, when you first heard; inhale the air, i know where i was, just because of polarbear.....

    good on ya!

  • if u go to his myspace send him a message he will probs sort u out with a few mp3's

  • wow!! I don't know why but I'm near tears. how strange for something like that to make the hairs on the back of my neck tingle.

  • yea same it amazing!

  • this guy supported sroobius pip, and he is ace, i've never seen a room full of people so quiet just to hear 1 guy speaking. Brilliant.

  • just fab. Does what the best poetry does best, distills. I like what you say about the spaces between words. This is very generous in a poet, to not need to fill in the blanks for the listener. Your work is good on so many levels, really really enjoyed listening to it. First modern poet for quite a while, in my opinion, with something original to offer. A fine voice.

  • Have just discovered PB whilst listening to the radio. Incredible stuff.

  • I love this, its so beautifully written and perfectly performed I think his character comes across so well in this piece. `i makes me smile so much every time i listen to it. Peace.

  • Afternoon to anyone who's checked out this video or is checking it out now. Thanks for listening and watching and thanks to everyone who left a comment. Crazy to me that people all over are watching in their houses or at work and it's me talking on stage a while ago. It's nuts really. Anyways, nice one and if there's ever a gig near where you live come down and I'll get you a drink.

  • Do You Have Lyrics ??

I'm From Poland And I Dont Understand Some Words, But I Don't Know How Spell It.

  • This poem right here really speaks to me. I remember hearing it on the Colin Murray radio show and every single word of it is the truth. Seriously, it just makes me so nostalgic, it's like hearing my childhood read back to me. I remember looking for it for days after but I couldn't find it anywhere, but now it's on YouTube so I can listen whenever I like. It's just so real and it flows so well. I've gotta listen to some more of your stuff man!

    Peace.

  • spot on. heard it on colin aswell and searched till i found it. fucking ace
