haven't used reason, altho i am a diehard mac guy. if you're using alot of midi, your requirements may be different than mine. i'm a string instrument, throw a mic out there kinda guy. :)

@TheFieryBall Have an acoustic but I never really got the hang of it....piano is my choice instrument. I have zero training in music so this is all self taught stuff for me. I'm not the best player in the world but for a guy whose only been playing for about a year and a half,....I'm not to bad. I think the Reason software will enhance what I do have. We'll see

@TheFieryBall I'm not a songwriter....more of a new age composer! The reason my music is not on YT yet is it is all stuck inside my workstation keyboard. I will be getting all the nessessary equipment and software to get it properly mixed and mastered. Then I will definately be going to YT and Itunes and a few other places. Still need to investigate that further. Til then I'm just trying to get a few friends and subscribers so I'll have a ready audience. Not at all taken the wrong way! all good

@Lemonheadmusik research protools. it has been the industry standard since livin la vida loca by ricky martin. you can get into it on the most basic level for about 6 hundred dollars

@TheFieryBall I took a look at protools but I think theres more for me to learn by with Reason5. Oh and btw....I hate to say it but that wasn't us in the water. Its just a random Bing image. Not saying we've never been in that way though....if ya know what I mean!
