U2 - Mysterious Ways - Axe-fx Preset (recreation of Korg A3)

I tink it's the best and closest sound i've ever herard about this song using not a korg A3.

this sounds almost perfect, like 98% identical to the korg. only thing it needs is more of the huge increase in bass right at the end. the "reverse" wah (as some call it) needs to go a tiny bit further.

awesome sound though, must've taken you forever to tweak it right.

@JIMMYJIBLETS Oddly, getting this sound didn't take too long. Maybe an hour or two. The sad thing is that I have probably spent 10 hours trying to improve the version in this video, and have made zero progress.

Damn that is getting close...the Axe needs more of that reverse wah thing going (and tone seems darker?). But keep tweaking dude, you're bount to nail it.

I like your observation that the tone is "darker." Now that you've said that, I hear it. I think that the remedy might be to add some sparkle to the EQ on the plate reverb. Anyway, work in progress, thanks for the comment.
