  • Oh dear, owned big style

  • The mishies aren't responding to a single thing the guy with the camera says - they just keep their MTC-learned schpiel going, but have nothing to go on - they cannot defend their own cult.

  • @haibu128 Well put.

  • @standingplain1 Stop attacking the video maker just because he has valid points. The Mormons never answered any question properly.

  • The problem with the LDS church is they have a revelation when being Criticize how convenient. They only got rid of polygamy to have state rights; they only accept blacks fully into the church because of the civil rights movement. And what gives the LDS the right to not follow Galatians Ch 1:8?

Saying the book of Mormon goes hand and hand with the Bible is like saying the chronicles of Narnia goes with the Bible. My Cats Crazy

  • I love college philosophy. Be honest, you've taken a class or 2.

  • Questions for PolsciStudent. What are you trying to prove with your videos? Why don't you show your face in your videos? Is your purpose to just bother people who have beliefs? Do you study up on how to catch people in a simple contradiction and just do it over and over? What are your beliefs about life? Do you really think you're more intelligent than all the people your speaking to? Why does doing that make you feel good? Is it power? What do you as a person offer to society? - Jay
  • @standingplain1 Seriously? He seems to be asking some valid questions that most Mormons, even (and often especially) missionaries haven't thought very deeply about. They know their position is weak when dealing with logical arguments, evidence and reason, so all they can do is nod their heads and reassert their belief that they have been contacted by the creator of the universe. It certainly makes me feel good to show the holes in people's reasoning... with any hope it makes people think.

  • They got owned

  • Very well done. The best thing that we can do for humanity is to admit that we don't know. The fanatical view without any proof is what causes much of the strife in the world. If we could all admit that the texts that we quote from, as truth, could be questioned, we would be a step closer to finding some common ground in which peace could begin. I would be interested to see some more videos from you. Keep on asking questions.

  • very well played, pointing out contradictions:

If god is real -> all religions are false except 1 -> likelihood of your religion being true is 1/(total number of religions)

Everyone believes their religion is true -> perceived likelihood = 1.

Religious beliefs are clearly contradictory with reality.

  • Most LDS missionearies don't know that Joseph Smith used a hat and his ordinary garden stone (treasure digging props) to reveal his book of mormon. He looked in his hat and claimed words appeared on his garden stone.

The Gold Plates story is bullcrap! He used his hat and stone. many in his day and age believed that stones gave out such messages!

Smith failed at treasure digging and never found any gold for anyone and then came up with the Gold Plates instead and bingo! Money and Chicks.

  • @ElderJoseph A lot of missionaries know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon with a hat! Sheesh. Can you please read the apologetics website, and read what they are saying! -,- The reason why Missionaries don't say this is because people won't understand why he did it. -,- GOLDEN PLATE IS NOT BULLCRAP! One was already found! You should do some actual research, because evidences are slowly coming out of the fog!

  • @mormondefender26 link or source to the plate found, I highly doubt you are telling the truth.

  • @pandorachild The only truth you'll get, is if you'll look for it yourself.

  • @mormondefender26 thought so ; )

There is a difference on what is true and what you hope or wish to be true, the easy way to tell them apart is like this: one has evidence and the other has lies.

Like JS you felt the need to lie about golden plates, ironic or conclusive evidence of your cultist programming and delusion?

  • @mormondefender26 so it's another "magic plate" that only appears to ppl that believe? :-)

  • @mormondefender26 " -,- GOLDEN PLATE IS NOT BULLCRAP!"

Smith never used any plates. he was looking in his hat and claimed words were apearing on his stone? he used the hat and stone for his treasure digging con. Those people of that time were uneducated and thought it was a legit tool! hahaha Reminds of crystal ball Gypy fortune tellers . Do you believe them as well?

Thats why the Book of Morm refers to treasure seeking cos Smith wrote of himself.

  • @ElderJosep There were witnesses that saw the gold plates. The amazing thing is that they went against Joseph Smith but they never denied the existence of Golden Plates. The looking through the hat thing was a practice back in JosephSmith's day. Go to fairlds.org for more details, and search davidlory. They answer more clearly than I do. sorry!

  • @ElderJoseph I'm sorry that you felt neglected by the missionaries. It doesn't mean that no one actually loved you. They do! It's because they THOUGHT that you would be filled with the burning passion of truth the spirit has given to you, that they thought you didn't need them anymore. They're not forcing you to pay money--and they're not forcing you to look for members either! I'm a recent convert and I know what I'm talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • @mormondefender26 " ! I'm a recent convert and I know what I'm talking about"

Yes I spent two years watching gullibles being suckered in. You have achieved absoolutely NOTHING by being baptised as you will end up in the same lower kingdom as me (according to LDS fraud Theology) until you PAY TITHEand OBEY fully.

You are not a real Mormon until you have done your temple Endowment where you swear an oath to GIVE ALL MONEY and TIME to the cult if asked for. lol Don't be a sucker my friend.

  • @mormondefender26 " They're not forcing you to pay money--and they're not forcing you to look for members either!"

Mormons theology teaches that those who don't pay TITHE will be BURNED!

Yep, get ready for the Mormon Gods threat to PAY UP!! lol

And be prepared for every member a missionary and if you don't convert it means you are not living worthy! The blame will be put on you for lack of people who don't want to join Joseph Smiths circus.

I have TWO YEARS experience. I know. lol

  • @ElderJoseph Mormon theology? sweetbuttcakes! -_- You don't even know what you're talking about, I'm done with you. fortheloveofpeterpan.I dare you to search "davidlory" on youtube, he will shut your front door like you've never been shut before.

  • @mormondefender26 " Mormon theology? sweetbuttcakes! -_- You don't even know what you're talking about, "

WEll you prefer to IGNORE Mormon Theology then.

I know what Mormon Theology teaches and you are another cult recruit in denial.

David Lory is ridiculous and you want to believe his BS. Fine.

Remember PAY and PRAY and OBEY and do not question what you are taught in church! Just keep you mouth shut tight! ok and oh Bishop knows your thoughts he has Priesthood discernment!

  • @ElderJoseph

Boy, I've questioned my whole life like a freaking boss. What exactly is a cult in your "vocabulary"...you:uuuuh,mmm uuuh a bunch of stupid people who umm follow other stupid people who ummm. MORMONS ARE A STUPID CULT. That's how you sound like to me. Actually that's how 99% of what anti-mormons sound like to me. You only think Davidlory is ridiculous because he's giving you commonsense and proving you wrong in every direction you are going.

  • @mormondefender26 " You only think Davidlory is ridiculous because he's giving you commonsense" A dangerous deluded religious cult recruit. What do you expect when your head is pounded with Joseph SMith crap from Birth. He stood little chance poor kid.

David Lory also has no Authority from the LDS church and it's Leaders. His comments and Videos carry no endorsement at all from them.

have you noticed that LDS apostles are not careless enough to make Videos defending the church.

  • @ElderJoseph

Why would the self proclaimed LDS apostles make videos. There making books and money. They have self appointed church apologist and FARMS / FAIR to do the dirty work.

  • @BayAreaSun " Why would the self proclaimed LDS apostles make videos. There making books and money. "

Yes great point. They make money while every one else runs around obeying them! lol

FAIRS and FARMS are employees of the LDS church so I guess they are trying to keep themselves justified for their LDS wages. There are loads of creeps trying to look obedient and worthy in the LDS cult. lol

FAIRS and FARMS research was so STUPID and RIDICULOUS that they helped me get out.

  • @ElderJoseph

I can't agree with you more. FAIR/FARMS paid church employees who do nothing but give assumptions and spin.

  • @ElderJoseph First of all, I wasn't born a Mormon.

Second of all; yes davidlory isn't a church authority, but that doesn't mean he's not a faithful member that can enlighten the minds of deluded anti-mormons.

And LDS leaders have better things to do than make videos. -,- I don't even know why I'm replying to you...I guess you anti-mormons can band together and make a union of stupid people who hate mormons because of some personal agenda.

  • @mormondefender26 " First of all, I wasn't born a Mormon."

Well you are a first class sucker then if you have joined this dumb lying cult in your adult years.

Same type of Sucker that joins The Watchtower Organisation and thinks his Dumb leaders at Watctower HQ have been appointed by God! The even dumber ones are those who believe this crap from non appointed, non qualified men and nothing else. Read the crap Bruce McConkie wrote all his life and LDS suckers believed him.

  • @mormondefender26 " I guess you anti-mormons can band together "

No such thing as Antimormons. That has been implanted in your head by Cult leaders who don't want you know the real truth about them and their lying to you every week in church lessons.

If you try to talk about what really happened in LDS history in church you will get notice from your cult bishop to keep your mouth tightly shut.

Keep your mouth shut, Obey and Pay Money, thats all they require of you.

  • @ElderJoseph And it's very obvious you got all of the teachings of the church wrong! No matter how many times I explain to you the cold hard facts about tithings you will never understand it, because of your little anti-mormon brain. NO. All you think about is "oh they're getting yo hard earned moneh 'cause they like the smell of it" I find it funny that you think of it that way. hahahahahah!!!

  • @ElderJoseph And you're confused again!!! About other doctrines ohmy goooosh! It's just hilarious. Here comes a man who claims he knows EVERY single thing about the church, yet he doesn't even know what we are REALLY teaching. The bishop DOES NOT know your thoughts. If you claim to be an "ex-mormon"then you should know this! Only God and Jesus Christ knows what your thoughts are, NOT THE BISHOP.

  • @mormondefender26 ". If you claim to be an "ex-mormon"then you should know this!"

I didn't get baptised becuase it's a scam and a lying fraud. And YES BISHOPS are supposed to have Priesthood discernment and know if you are LYING/Cheating for your Temple Recommend. I read it Boyd Packers pamphlet The HOly Temple page 4.

  • @ElderJoseph " for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart." 1 samuel 16. The bishop may have authority from god, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT HE IS NOT A MAN. WHICH MEANS; he doesn't know your thoughts.

  • @ElderJoseph "The people are not compelled to pay their tithing, they do as they please about it, it is urged upon them only as a matter of duty between them and their God (DBY, 177).

We do not ask anybody to pay tithing, unless they are disposed to do so; but if you pretend to pay tithing, pay it like honest men (DBY, 177)."

  • @mormondefender26 "We do not ask anybody to pay tithing, unless they are disposed to do "

THis is mumbo jumbo. In the Mormon Religion members are taught that they will be BURNED for not paying tithing.

Gospel Principles book page 210 under Tithes and Offerings.

and also if they don't pay tithe they can't get into the eternal temple club where real mormon salvation is available to only those who pay the tithe membership.

Its's blackmail. Typical business cult style.

  • @ElderJoseph You're stupid beyond comprehension. My faith wavered at first seeing things that you guys are saying, but in the end, your propaganda has backfired on you. You guys just get more stupid.., it's mind blowing actually.

  • @mormondefender26 " You're stupid beyond comprehension. "

The sole reason I have distanced myself from Mormonism is that it's completely stupid, completely false and a lying dumb crass organisation and to keep away from dangerous idiots like David Lory.

I hope you spend your whole life in LDSinc, you deserve it.

Stay Pray and Obey and PAY UP!!! Pay Tithe and shut up and don't even ask where they spend it. Thats NON of your Business at all and never will be accounted to you.

  • I asked very important questions early on about polygamy and the mormon stance on it and each time I was fobbed of with BS lies. They believe in hiding information from the investigator if it will help keep him attending and for the purpose of recruitment.

In fact most of LDS sincerity is really about sincerely trying to get you to join the cult!

Once you are baptised the love bombing eases off and your are then expected to pull your own weight, pay tithe and do the same to recruit others.

  • @ElderJoseph What BS lies are we saying? What informations are we hiding. recruitment.. I'd make the whole world mormon if it was possible, because the worl would be such a peaceful place. but then we wouldn't be here on earth if that was the case.

Ever since I've been given the truth by the holy ghost--I would stop at nothing to show this love and happiness that god has given me. That my sincerity, IDK about you.

  • @mormondefender26 " What BS lies are we saying? What informations are we hiding."

I'll give you one and I won't be wasting any more time on all the lies.

I was taught that Joseph Smith translated with and Urim and Thummin and Breastplate which came with the Gold plates in a box.

Actually he used the same treasure scamming hat and garden stone prop and claimed words apeared inside the hat on the stone.

The LDS church is a lying organisation.

  • @ElderJoseph All I can say to you is, davidlory. He answers all questions. thoughtfully.

  • @mormondefender26 " I'd make the whole world mormon if it was possible, because the worl would be such a peaceful place."

It would not be peaceful. Everyone was Born a spirit Mormon to polygamist heavenly father according to the LDS cult in the Pre existence and their was still wars in heaven.

Stuff your recruitment BS up your rear. And also Mormon US army recruits are killing people all around the world.

What hapened to Love Your Enemy?

  • @ElderJoseph hahahahaha. polygamist heavenly father. You've been watching those "mormon jesus" cartoons.

Mormon U.S. army recruits, catholic U.S. army recruits, whatever different christian U.S. army recruits, are all "killing" people all around the world. The only thing these men are doing, is fighting for our country. disrespect to the american flag. And don't talk about loving your enemy, because you're doing the exact same opposite.

  • I spent two years amonst the Mormons & attending every week. The people are sort of sincere but the church leaders and educational system is deceptive about their origins and teaches a whitewashed version of LDS history. The church lessons portray Joseph Smith as the ideal caring monogomous husband and role model, however history shows him to be the ultimate nightmare and husband from Hell who chased young teen chicks for marriage and lied to his real wife about his interfering with other women.

  • @ElderJoseph All LDS church members know that Joseph Smith Practiced polygamy. Moses and all the other Old Testament prophets practiced polygamy, what can you say about that? -,- The reason why they show Emma Smith a lot is because she was a very respectable woman, doesn't mean it represented a monogamous relationship. The only thing I can tell you about polygamy, is that it sustained strong church members for generations.

  • @mormondefender26 " Moses and all the other Old Testament prophets practiced polygamy, what can you say about that?"

Yes they practiced killing people as well, stoning to death sabbath workers and Gods Chosen Israelites practiced RAPING women as well after massacring there husbands and children. What Crap they did is no reason for YOU or YOUR founders to commit such Abuse.

  • @mormondefender26 " The reason why they show Emma Smith a lot is because she was a very respectable woman"

Yes she was respectable, she objecting to Joseph Smith screwing his housemaids and Fanny Alger in the barn.

... and Brigham Young said that 'Joseph thought Emma had tried to poison him'! Joseph SMith was a husband from Hell, an abuser of others for his own glory.

Did he get his ambition realised to be crowned King of The World? hahahah

  • @ElderJoseph Oh my goooosh. Brother, I'm telling you read things in all KINDS of sources. Don't just read from Anti-Mormon websites! This is what I've been repeatedly saying that a member (I forgot who) was excommunicated a bunch of times, because he was a sex-crazed psycho, he stole from the Smith's during Joseph's time in the liberty Jail--he was the same guy who said he saw Joseph and Fanny Alger in the farm together. yeah, REAL COLD HARD EVIDENCE. fairlds.org

  • Pointing out to you other question that people don't follow what Moses said about "stoning people to death". It's a loooong story. And if you want to find more details about it, please message me! But to make a long story short, since the Israelites broke the commandments, god gave them simpler commandments.Which is stone none believers to death.. etc. etc. blah blah. But when Christ came, he gave a higher law, and through him, the wholeness of the gospel was restored.

  • @mormondefender26 "But when Christ came, he gave a higher law, and through him, the wholeness of the gospel was restored."

Yes and when Joseph Smith turned up an even higher Law appeared. Hand over your money and wives and your 14 year old daughters to Joseph Smith because he said 'God said so' and deluded followers believed him and actually handed over wives, daughters and money to the cult leader Smith!

How daft can people be? It's ridiculous.

  • @ElderJoseph Tithing is not "HAND OVER YOUR MONEY OR I WILL KEEL YOU." dude no. NO. seriously. I pay my tithing because I freaking want to, not because my bishop (whom which I highly respect) held my family hostage, threatening that I should pay my tithing. Noooooo! I pay it, because I get to help in humanitarian aid, and the building of churches and temples! and I get more money in return from God!

  • @mormondefender26 "Tithing is not "HAND OVER YOUR MONEY OR I WILL KEEL YOU."

The church teaches that NON tithe payers will be BURNED!

They also teach that tithing brings material blessings of dollars and wealth to those who pay!

What a lying scam and con that only greedy material idiots will fall for! lol

No tithing is used for any Humanitarian Aid. There is a seperate fund for that, I know because I used to pay it. Tithing is to expand the church corporation and pay itself wages.

  • @ElderJoseph WTH. burned. what. the.heck.WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT? THE INTERNET? OR SOME ANTI-MORMON PREACHER? -,- DUDE! I have a testimony that I recieved a bunch of money when I payed my tithing. I payed my tithing everytime I had an allowance, but when my birthday came..ohman. I had more money than I could spend. And the lord doesn't just bless through material things, he blesses through other things as well! And there's nothing wrong with paying for humanitarian aid!

  • @ElderJoseph You paid for tithing...but you never knew where it went. -,- You must be one of the saddest LDS members ever. You never asked your bishop where it went? WOw....talk about truth seeker. You got it all figured out. Yes tithing also goes into church businesses--meaning building temples, churches, and BOMs. Our church is a self sustaining church who doesn't loan money from the government.

  • @ElderJoseph *sigh.and the fourteen year old accusation wasn't even proven to be true! the one's who said that he did child molestation were people who got excommunicated, because they themselves were committed sinners. They said lies about the prophet, because they hate that they've been rejected form the kingdom of God!

  • @mormondefender26 " sigh.and the fourteen year old accusation wasn't even proven to be true"

Listen, I read Stake Patriarch Richard Bushmans book on Joseph SMith, Rough Stone Rolling. I am not interested in whetehr Smith screwed a 14 year old. The point is, he was marrying them and coercing them. he also took other mens wives in marriage and even told one that she was his and that an angel with a flaming sword threatened him over it!

The lies are from Smith, his lies are proven and recorded.

  • @ElderJoseph My friend, it is hard to understand something if you don't know the religion itself personally. Well then if you think Joseph Smith was a child molesting nut-job, then what would you say about Prophets from the old testament who married young wives and practiced polygamy as well?

    peace.

  • Your right, Christ never claimed to be God. i Think this was the way to church could control its people. Basically when it comes to faith, Who am i to say one is wrong if it helps someone along there path and they benefit from it. I dont think this life is about finding the right religion and becoming a sheep. i think its about learning and progressing, finding out who you are and who you want to be and allowing a presence greater than you lead the way. God is bigger than religion

  • Middle Mormon : "Like, what it comes down to again, is that your faith, and if God is willing to tell you an answer. That's all we can give you."

    Stupid, illogical douche baggery.

  • @CharlieWhitesWig

Stupid and illogical indeed, but I'd say the worst part about their mentality is that they're essentially encouraging people to "listen to the voices in their head", which is incredibly dangerous

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn No that's not even close to the "worst part". After long hours of reading a book that has grand inspirational stories and some fundamental truths - after assurance that you will be accepted by people committed to helping in every aspect of your life you are told to ask God if this is "the true church". If God talks to you, you are to stop talking to God, and listen to men that have done things like discriminate against people based on race & sexual orientation.

  • @AMilitantAgnostic

exactly, which makes it even worse. From what I understand, the Mormons and Catholics both look to the heads of their churches as literal interpreters of gods word, that means if, say, the Pope claims god told him this and that than Catholics, by default, must accept this as gods message.

This makes it s step more dangerous than communism, where we have blind obedience to leaders

  • @LadyAmaltheaUnicorn If God talks to you ( I mean really GOD) you don't need any man - book - prophet - to tell you how to live your life. You can just ask God!

If God really wants a relationship with you, and starts speaking with you - there are no church rules, no leaders, nothing you need to do but listen. God has no need to ever tell you - "I told that guy, go listen to him". If that still small voice tell you that, feel free to ask that voice why HE wants to stop talking with you.

  • @AMilitantAgnostic You're taking each ideas out of context.

God speaks to us personally, through prayer, and through personal revelations. Which means he helps us in our PERSONAL life.

--on the other hand, a prophet is for the leading of HIS PEOPLE. as a group!

And we're all disobedient little kids running around the world, do you think without all these aspects of books, and prophets people would be less wild? God is our Dad. did you follow your parents when they scolded you for you benefit?

  • @mormondefender26 Ah the wisdom of being 16 -- so.... Did God give later church officials the right to change the BOM, D&C? Were the first leaders horrible false prophets whose words and writings had to be changed? Or are the new prophets the evil ones for making such changes?

  • @AMilitantAgnostic awesome!

  • @CharlieWhitesWig Because despite evidences, without faith, physical things are nothing.

    Don't confuse "believing" from "faith"

  • @mormondefender26 That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.

  • @mormondefender26 "Because despite evidences, without faith, physical things are nothing." Maybe if one is not self-diluted, physical things are real, regardless of how you feel about them.

  • some are humble and uneducated and there are plenty who are very educated and eloquent and could better discuss with you. I challenge you to keep doing these videos, or to at least keep talking to members, and challenging them (perhaps in a less scary way) and even to try to talk to general authorities of the church. You could really have an amazing discussion with them.

  • @1117android General authorities of the church excommunicated me because I asked really tough questions, and converted other young people away from the church.

  • Comment removed

  • @AMilitantAgnostic i don't know what really happened with you or the tough questions you asked, i think it's obviously way more important to ask questions and try to learn for yourself what is true or not true, or just accepting that there is so much unknown, and not justifying any one belief system...despite all my own questions and doubts, what shines through is the truth that i've felt in this gospel, and what i learned outside as well. I think our questions will be answered...

  • @1117android Honestly you don't buy that, do you? You attend church for the social aspect, the comfort of family, friends. It's not in any way an intellectual decision, and if you try and tell me it is - lets go a few rounds and see how fast you retreat back to "it's a matter of faith" Well it's NOT! Your church leaders have mislead and lied to members - that's simple historical fact. If you ever did study, like you said you did, you know that, and regardless of the facts you still attend. Why?

  • @AMilitantAgnostic I've always felt i didn't fit socially, that's one reason i left for 6 years. realized what i actually loved about it was the teachings of Jesus Christ and his atonement. You can't tell me why I attend, or expect to know that it wasn't an intellectual decision. "it's a matter of faith" is not a retreat or a safety net, that is what religious beliefs are, faith. If you don't have any, then just chill and don't bother people who do. There are better ways to spend your time.

  • @1117android woahh!!! :DD!! yeah you show them brotha!

  • @AMilitantAgnostic and I think faith is an intellectual decision. It's not an easy one, it's natural to want to believe in only things you can see or hear, but when you really feel something is true, denying it is what's irrational. You may not have felt the same things, and whatever no one is telling you that you have to. Theres no need for you or anyone to hate on what others believe and i don't get why being so antagonistic does it for you. But ya to each his own, good luck to you.

  • @1117android Faith is what makes you sleep at night, faith is the evolutionary product of mans inner struggle over things like thunder and rainbows, death and babies. Knowing the truth tends to eliminate the magic - but I like knowing how those things come about. The more I know, the more I don't know. However I can see why man used to need a faith in a god just to make it through the night. I don't hold your fear against you, just your insistence that your religion is the truth.

  • @AMilitantAgnostic What facts are you trying to prove? Lies by excommunicated members about Joseph Smith?

  • @mormondefender26 You are 16 - you have a lot to study - admit it you have no idea where the negative information about the church comes from. Your parents and other church members just told you it had to be lies because they prayed and God gave them a testimony - Son, how strong a testimony do you you think Muslims have to have to strap a bomb on an blown themselves up? If you believe that they are delusional, then why not examine the attributes of delusion, and see if you fit the profile?

  • @1117android Tell me, do you feel your conviction (I call it a delusion) of truth is as strong as the conviction of those that blow themselves up? If your prophet asked you to kill are you willing? How about you study up on BY's position on what needs to happen if a white person sleeps with a black? Any Ideas as to what he called for (as a Prophet of God)? Do that and tell me about your "feeling".

  • @1117android All the hi ranking members of the church that I've talked to seem to suddenly seem to lack the absolute certainty they preach on Sundays. I have yet to find anyone in the church that does not fold up under the scrutiny of socratic method. All if them talk of evidence yet fall back to "well I guess it's just a matter of faith". Sorry but it's a matter of deception and delusion and faith has less to do with the church than money, power and control.

  • obviously you're a smart guy and you want to challenge people, apparently mostly members of the mormon faith, to question why and what they believe...but it can be really scary to be challenged like that, i know that if you came up to me and asked me about my faith in the manner that you do, i'd be intimidated and wouldn't be able to speak my mind clearly under that pressure and tone that you're doing it in. There are all sorts of people who belong to this church...

  • You can talk and do all the research you want. But when you read the Book of Mormon and ask God if it is true, and then you receive personal revelation that it is indeed true, for the rest of your life you cannot deny the things which you have been revealed.

  • @tiannam117

how do you know that it's "god" telling you its true and not your superego confirming what you *want* to be true?

This is what the agnostic guy seemed to be addressing; there are thousands of religions whose followers are confident that theirs is the right one; if they've all asked a god to show them the truth than why is this god showing people conflicting truths?

  • "what if god tells us the right answer and we just perceive it wrong?" so god cant get a clear signal through? the dude obviously hasnt read the bible when he said the law was fulfilled, when it was the sacrificial law and he didnt in fact claim to be god, he called himself to son of man. religious people dont read their own books, that is irony

  • @wearestarstuffsagan I read my own books..everyday...-,-.....I study all the scriptures in seminary...everyday... IDK what you're saying

  • mormons? in this year, being a mormon is automatic dumbass status

  • @wearestarstuffsagan I tend to think that anyone that says dumbass things like that are automatically dumbasses. I live in Utah and I can tell you there are some very smart Mormons. I don't think they have prophets that talk to God, but as far as humans go some are very smart humans.

  • @wearestarstuffsagan Being a troll of your kind is more of an awful kind

  • They'd rather he had any religion than none at all!

  • Subbed. Keep doing these! You're really intelligent and doing us Agnostics a real favor in showing the world that we aren't the ignorant ones.

  • any sentence that some one starts by saying "god told me so..." = delusion

  • @91lilfrozone23 Any human that speaks in absolute certainties about what others experience, is self-delusional about his intelligence - I don't know anything about others experiences, and nether do you!

You're just spreading atheist propaganda. Atheism is the new religion, of self-worship, where followers attribute to themselves, attributes that historically has been attributed to God. Like you just did...

  • @AMilitantAgnostic

Sure, whatever makes you sleep at night sweetie!

Do you even know what agnostic means? It means without knowledge (of something), so the fact that you call yourself just "an agnostic" just shows how smart you are.

I in the other hand call my self an agnostic atheist (disbelief on gods, don't posses the knowledge to prove right what I say). I'm also an antitheist, because religion is a social disease and I wanna get rid of it.

  • @91lilfrozone23 "Do you even know what agnostic means?" You are really arrogant enough to try and school me on what an agnostic is? Really?

There is no such thing as an agnostic atheist - you are so wrapped up in the religion of atheism that you don't know that's pure propaganda. Atheist are loosing it - who put YOU in charge of what others CAN believe? Whats your plan a genocide? Dehumanization is the first step "religion is a social disease and I wanna get rid of it" Really?

  • Pure pwnage, earned a sub from me.

  • @pandorachild Not really. All he was doing was

    *missionary explaining*

    *interruption*

    *explaining the interruption*

    *intterupting again*

  • @mormondefender26 oh so they could answer all the really hard questions, if they had more time? Let me break it down for you, the bible isnt trustworthy, the Bom is obviously a scam, how do you justify your beliefs? You cant you want us to take it on faith and call it reason. Atheists are great look at this guy helping the poor delusional theists out and possibly opening their eyes a bit to reality. :D

  • @pandorachild I think you need to do some research on what you are claiming. On a side note, There are narrow minded atheists and narrow minded theists. These mormons clearly don't have a complete understanding of what they think. Mormons don't hold the bible in as high a regard as actual christians, even if we agreed that the bible was not trusworthy I don't think that would have an effect on the thoughts of mormondefender.

  • @pandorachild The Bible has had enough historical evidences. Einstein had enough evidences to prove his theories. How could a fourteen year old boy think up such an "amazing" scam in that young age? I'm 16, and I can hardly answer my pre-calculus homework. If you didn't know yet that Joseph Smith received the revelation at that young age, then you have to question; "how did such a young boy come up with a scam?" No one's that smart. Well, Joseph Smith wasn't very smart, that's for sure.

  • This made my morning lol great job.

  • ahaha its funny hw u say u admit everything is possible....

  • @MaCxSaMoA685 why?

  • @PolsciStudent ur question are all possible if u jus try

  • These guys seem more defensive than intellectual.. Probably because they were on camera, or because they weren't prepared for your arguments. I believe it's mostly because they have only been brought up in the church and haven't been exposed to those types of questions. I've been in your shoes, confronting missionaries with questions they didn't have answers for, and now I'm LDS.. I think our Heavenly Father invite those types of questions, especially when your curious enough to look for answers

  • @SPL33NM3RCH4NT How long have you been LDS?

  • @AMilitantAgnostic Not long. I had certain things revealed to me over the years that led me to believing its true. I am right there with you with the Bible. i think the leaders of the church at the time chose certain books to represent Christ in a way were we didn't have a choice but obey.

  • they're logic.... its painful...

  • @abarbar06 *their logic, *it's painful

  • thats a retarded question.....if 12 people witnessed a car accident there is not one of them who would have an identical story of what happened

  • It seemed like you were just shouting out facts for them to think about, it didn't really make them look dumb. This video has disappointed me.

  • I think you could have done a better job harassing them.

  • @sgprailfan I agree wuth that he didn't necessarily "own" them, but I don't like the idea of harassment

  • Stuck around? He moved several times and by just reading about his life makes it pretty clear he was a swindler.Do You think he was a prophet?

  • @retroHC You didn't even read about his life. The internet doesn't tell what his life was like.

  • you really begrudge him that?

  • The fact that the missionaries didn't want to argue with you about this kind of stuff in no way makes them dumb. There is no possible way to definitively provw one way or the other that God does or does not exist or that the Mormon Church is or isn't true. Knowing that, they just don't care to argue with you about it because it really does come down to faith. Besides, even if it wasn't true, why do you care? If somebody believed something wildly illogical that genuinely made him happy, would

  • Agnostic: what an American way to think; there could be a God... errr.. but im too lazy to believe or have faith in such things. give me proof first... but really.. isnt this whole universe a complete testimony unto itself that God does exist? God isnt about proof, he's about faith and through faith you'll get your proof.

  • @xGoliathOnlinex So do you hate agnostics or Americans? Or both?

  • God man religion is such a fucking joke.

  • All the things these guys know doesn't come from the temple... it comes from God and the basic knowledge and tenants of our Faith.

  • raised and stuff... BRILLIANT

  • the spic was the funniest

  • where's part 3?

  • The missionaries were not made to look dumb at all. What they said is 100% correct. If the interviewer, or any other person, is not willing to take the necessary steps, with faith, then he will never know.

  • @LDStothecore What you have just said could have been said by a Muslim, Catholic, J.W. etc.

  • @Steveb0503 All im saying/asking is why cant people leave othe people alone? especially when it comes to religon. if someone came up to u and started asking questions about ur religon and telling u that they dont belive in it but they keep asking dumb questions, wouldnt u think it is stupid and disrespectful?

  • huge cop out, if i cant answer your question, "uhhh god knows." haha hilarious. I was arguing with a kid who believed that the bible was true word for word. man it was hard to take him seriously i laughed at him 3 times in his face. It was rude yes but it was needed.

  • like the missonaries have time for u to talk to them and try to covince them that there belifes are wrong. Its really disrespectful.

  • @TheLuckylovers My question to you is this: If someone told you that he thought the Sun revolved around the Earth (and tried to convince others of the same AND called those who believed otherwise evil), would it be considered "disrespectful" if you were to tell him you thought he was wrong? After all, those ARE his "beliefs".

  • Why can't mormons see they been had by a swindler? It's told in the book of mormon how Joseph Smith got away with a lot of loot.

  • @retroHC Hmm isn't it weird how he stuck around for years even though he was repeatedly beaten, tarred and feathered, driven from his home, illegally imprisoned numerous times, and finally brutally murdered for his beliefs when he could have easily escaped with his life? Seems to me that if he really was a swindler he probably would have hit the road before the whole murder thing happened. But that's just me.

  • @retroHC loot? trololol

  • dude i love this video u are a smart frekin guy and yes im an ex mormon

  • @sukavuka He's not smart.

  • As an ex mormon, I truly appreciate this video - and all your videos. You have a wonderful perspective on religion. These videos deserve soo many more views than they receive.

  • @ 4:23 the stoners walk by and @ 4:31 the dude in the san diego cap smells their weed hahahaha

  • One thing to mention when speaking with Mormons. They hold onto this idea that there has to be 3 or more witnesses to account for truth. So they often find it hard to accept the idea that the gospels were not eye witness accounts but 3rd party because to do so would mean that by their own standards the gospels do not account for truth.

  • You don't take a stand on anything; you're just questioning people who do take a stand.

Great job, man, you're a future politician!

  • @Nepthu How are you able to determine from a 6 minute video that someone has no stance for anything? Do you think a 6 minute video can capture the sum total of all things?

  • @whanethewhip WAKE UP! This maggot spoke to a Mormon girl very nicely on camera just to post it on youtube under the banner "Fat SAD Mormon." If he had a stance, he should say it instead of posting this immoral disgusting videos.

  • @Nepthu Let me dumb this down for you. Just because you see a video about a specific topic does not mean that the person putting the video together has no interests or stance outside of that topic. I trust this is not a difficult for you to understand. And there was nothing "immoral" about this video lol. However, according to the Bible this Mormon is in fact a glutton.

  • @whanethewhip Oh! Thanks for letting me in on the obvious truth--you're a dirt bag and a blow hard. Suck it!
