this version is MUCH harder than the N64 version on "WATCH ME DIE" setting because most of the enemies are modded, which some have shadow versions which are much harder to kill. For instance, the Cacodeon (red head) demon has a shadow version (hallow maroon color) and it takes 3 times as much effort to kill it than the regular cacodeon demon. The robot spider that throws eletric sparks has its alternative version as well and that version shoots rocket lauchers instead of electric sparks...
@g7eye This is a MOD for Doom 2 on the PC called Doom the absolution , it replicates doom64 fairly well, with some 'enhacements' such as free aim, increased difficulty, more enemies and some extra levels.
Yes. The end is completely different. And the laser/unmaker is so weak with its red "dots". On this level, letting the barons fight the Mancu is recommended two times in the game for not wasting too much ammo.
@dapapeyu1 The upgrades only affect the speed and the number of lasers you can add to the weapon. The first one gives your laser approx twice the speed. The others double then triple the shots. Then it closes the gates of the Absolution. But on this tc, the first version of Doom64 for the pc, it's more like a plasma shooter and it's weaker. I can compare, since I must have played 1000000 games of it on the Nintendo.
