You can still put HD movies onto regular DVDs.

im not sure, but i think the cables wont support the HD content, unless your using a HDMI cable.

No, that is just the cable. HD is a resolution, not a format. You could put HD on a floppy disk if you wanted. As long as the media is in HD and the screen supports HD - with a cable that can output those resolutions such as DVI or some such, then you have HD.

Floppy Drive Will not store and playback Blueray content. DVD Will Store the Data But will playback with it compressed on a DVD Player. Unless being read from a computer
