  • cute .. like your clip .. keep it up =)

  • all hail the great Ra

  • Yes! Someday, man will land on the sun...

  • Someday man will destroy the Sun.

  • @Megajunkie01001 someday man get some sense... ahem

  • amazingly beautiful!

  • at first I was thinking "this video is so freaking awesome!!" but then about halfway through, I suddenly became incredibly terrified of the sun and felt like it is going to kill me.

  • btw this is great video, but ok let's get back to porn

  • This must be one of Chuck Norris's molecule. Can only be seen in extreme ultraviolet

  • Beautiful. love it, that's our Sun.

  • Uranus looks nice

  • Ny tm 12: 13am

    84 degrees

  • This is beautiful, but you need to come up with better titles for your videos.

  • The person that makes & puts this crap on YouTube needs to get out more. You must have a lonely life pal!

  • @Beefer413

    It's called science.

Obviously you're not a fan of Discovery Channel or National Geographic.

And don't assume people has no life just coz he put boring videos. It's people like you that gave Youtube a bad name.

  • what is that the sun??

  • if you guys want to freak out, THE SUN WILL DIE IN THE NEW FEW BUT NOT HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS... you know what... if anyone of you are alive by then.. tell me in the after life when the sun is very red and big. which i doubt the sun ate the earth by then..

  • @darlthris I'm not really really worry about that, my great great great grand children will be death by then, and human race will already move to different multiple system or we may be already destroyed by our own nuclear holocaust

  • @Mooknuc1 it won't happen, earth is there for so many years, and it has never happened

  • nuclear fusion

  • I wonder how this sun will explode, there are some theories, but I wonder if all of em could be wrong and it would simply go boom and turn everything around it to dust in a matter of minutes lol

  • @uzimachi1 stars do not generally explode they collapse in on themselves

  • @uzimachi1 , the sun turn into a red giant then will nova , then turn into a neutron star , the effects of a collapse of a start is mostly determined by the mass , and its when a star is 2.5 times larger then out sun that it goes super nova . if you go to scholar google and look up nova , and star mass you should find some good articals

  • @MrAtrophy I understand the concept we got about the sun and its predictions on how it would collapse, what I mean is that its not every day we see a star explode, so perhaps our modern theories of star collapsing is not as accurate as we may think we know, and perhaps it might be very different from what we know today, just a small suggestion of how our sun in particular would die aside of the known theories of how it will die.

  • @uzimachi1 except this has nothing to do with the sun exploding , it is a sun spot and coronal mass ejection which are caused by magnetic fields moving , changing , and snapping. it has little if anything to do with how the sun will eventually die.

  • @MrAtrophy I never suggested that this video shows anything that has to do with the sun exploding, I was talking about what scientists say about the sun dying in the future, which brought to me the thought of, what if, it dies differently of what scientists have predicted today? That's it really lol I say explode cause its my way of seeing it, not suggesting at all that it goes boom, I simply said, what if it goes boom.

  • Our Sun was formed from the dust of a previous star that went super nova billions of years ago. The sun will die and eject it's gas which may form another solar system billions of years hence.

Several billion years from now some alien nerd will watch a video on Gloop Gloop Tube of his sun and post "It looks like the Incredible Grobnok's left nut."

    Space is deep.

  • that's pretty awesome actually if i knew what the fuck it was

  • @12345dubi12345 the suns corona, A corona is a type of plasma "atmosphere" of the Sun extending millions of kilometers into space, most easily seen during a total solar eclipse. and you can see Coronal loops,Due to the heightened magnetic activity in these coronal loop regions, coronal loops can often be the precursor to solar flares and coronal mass ejections which can help predict solar flares

  • @12345dubi12345 The Sun :D

  • ... Uhm...

  • how the fuck does this video get +15k views in a day?

  • What the fuck am i looking at!!!

  • @FireRockerzstudios Its the Sun, AIA stands for Atmospheric Imaging Assembly

  • @FireRockerzstudios Our Sun :D

  • WTF IS THIS BEAUTIFUL THING

MORE AMAZING THAN A DOUBLE RAINBOW

no seriously, can I move there

  • brb afk

  • best 4:36 of my life

    thank you!

  • 90% of these idiots have no idea what this is....

  • @Naraxsus Does that include you?

  • @cyberpolicechief Nice name buddy. Absolutely original.

  • @Naraxsus ok... thats a clearly a sun... care to explain what the sun doin'? burning? are we going to get some high-over-epic huge ass rays to Earth that will kill us all (hopefully)?

  • @spilot14 What you are looking at is the Sun shooting Plasma into space which eventually will hit the Earth. Once it hits earth you can see it smashing into us, Which is called Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. The eruptions you see on the sun are called Solar Flares and at times you will see Coronal Mass Ejections. If you want i can give you a link to explain it better.

  • @Naraxsus yeah, I always loved that kind of stuff and been admired by science and shit like that, I want a link please. xD

  • @spilot14 the Sun is burning actually. It is basically burning Hydrogen. The explosions you see happen everyday Eventually the Sun will kill us. /clap. As i said on another comment, It will eat us like nerds eat hot pockets. But it wont happen for about 5-10 billion years.

  • @Naraxsus Yeah by then we'll be long gone unless we kill ourselves next couple hundred years or so before we start moving into space. Then you got a few billion years before great rip.

  • @Naraxsus why idiots? i'm not an idiot, but i don't have a clue what is that thing. tell me.. is it a planet or a star?

  • @subGlo It's our Sun my friend. I will take back my comment of calling people idiots since this is a view of the Sun most people have never came in contact with. But! I do think it is a good idea to get in touch with the Sun, Since it basically has us on life support. Without it we would be nothing. Eventually the Sun will die and take us with it. The Sun will eat Earth like nerds eat hot pockets. I will say you are NOT an idiot, Only because you were smart enough to ask a question.

  • @Naraxsus thanks for telling! :) so i was guessing in the right way - a star. and Sun is a star too, eventually all stars will be like the Sun is today... yes? i wasn't so good at geography at school! :D

  • WTF does AIA_211_193_171_ mean? who do you think we are nerds? put a proper title on this so we'll know WTF we're looking at.................

  • @MisericordiaVerdader you're looking at the sun

  • the title of the video is fucked up

  • uhh so what im supposed to stare at this for 4 and a half minutes?

  • This is serious business, guise.

    Look, THE SUN TURNED GREEN!

  • Millions of tax dollars at work here people. Thanks for this NASA, our lives have been drastically changed with this useless information.

  • Hää ?

  • I'de love to take a closer look at the storm at 2:40

    #FTW

  • @l1998 dude u r real stupid so stfup

  • Not really if you look at the clock which they placed in the video you would see that it is not going faster

  • it'd be really nice if you had an explanation of what that is to people who have no clue but have no life so they're watching random videos on youtube...like me -__-

thanks, pic looks awesome by the way ^__^

  • sun of us???? or?

  • its the sun!!!!!XD

  • Looks like a fetus.

  • OK?

  • why im watching this?

  • @Williraser because in sun have a sunami and will come to us in 2011 we will face the concequences

  • @Williraser Because its amazingly beautiful.

We are lucky to be able to see this...

  • That planet does a full revolution really fast compared to earth's full revolution per day. Imagine how fast it's spinning.

  • @Varegous yeaaaaaaaaa notice the tiny little clock that shows the actual time lapse. Not so fast. And THAT planet is the sun.

  • what is that?

  • @allamzzz the sun

  • a starry starry night indeed.

  • Looks like the earth is ready to blow! Rofl

  • SOMEONE CALL NASA

  • Looks like Incredible Hulk's left nut.

  • @average220 OK, Thank you. That made me laugh and I really needed to laugh today.

  • @jstmeyou np, visit my other comments for more laughter

  • @average220 that humored me quite well sir

  • @average220

    left nut.?! bajaja xD

  • My favorite part was 1:47

  • Pretty incredible

  • lol somehow this video got on the front page and got a bunch of views

  • spaceweather com is a good site to go to for explanations about the sun and when there are solar flares

  • It would help if there was some explanation! this is like watching a movie when you can't see or hear! Useless!

  • I want a green sun

  • I don't get it 2

  • yea i dont get it too

  • i dont get it
