Watched "The Cove" for the first time yesterday.. immediately after, I had a feeling that it was not even anywhere near the end of it, so I looked up "Taiji 2011" last night. Feeling confirmed. I know we all feel that "violence is not the answer", but it most certainly can be a way of ending things. I believe that the Taiji islanders must be captured, placed on a ship, taken to the middle of the Pacific Ocean, thrown overboard and speared.

Are they killing dolphins just because they are pests that eat our fish? The fishermen are waging war with cetaceans? And instead of killing up to 20k dolphins a year they could easily turn there city into a tourist city. As well as what a fisherman said "it is not about killing the dolphins or selling them its about pest control" meaning of course dolphin eat fish. And the japanese goverment is telling them this, but what they dont know is the lack of fish is from overfishing.

Also dolphin meat is laced with mercury that can harm humans, so its not for just the benefit of the dolphins but for humans as well.
