The thing I love about Karen Elson is that she reminds me of all of the girls I knew who owned a guitar in college, wrote some cool songs, and sang them later at night in her dorm room. I always thought one of them would make it big, but they never did.

For all of you who dislike the song based solely on this video, check out the full band version of it. It's really a beautiful, haunting song whose appeal is showcased in a full band setting, more so than the acoustic version, in my opinion.

who is karen elson? although she seems to be enjoying herself completely, this is just not very good music. There are so many talented people out there. A quick listen to La Roux will show you the difference, she does not let a song out until she has done her best on it. This gal, she should be scooted over to the side a bit ....
@Pozelanore Karen Elson is a super model married to Jack White, frontman of The White Stripes and member of The Dead Weather. As for this acoustic version of "The Ghost Who Walks" it's not very good. She needs the musical support of the other accompanying parts on the album version; they really help fill out a good moody atmosphere to it. Granted, her vocals aren't particularly strong but check out the album version; it's definitely a lot more pleasing to hear. P.S. I Love La Roulx! =)
