i have a sony nex3 and its set on 720 fine for the video. and i have sony vegas movie studio platinum and for whatever reason it doesnt want to play or let me edit what i record with out converting it first from mp4 to mwv. is there a software that i can use that i wont have to convert everything i record? is anyone know please respond thanks

@JRPstudent Sensor and lens are clean, just checked. As I said, the pictures are great the problem is only in video mode. It gets better when using VGA( 600x400) mode, so it looks like the data transfer is not fast enough. Im getting the memory card today.

Hi, I got the NEX3 but I cant get this video quality ;( I have tried everything... all kinds of setups, in day light and low light. After that I made an camera reset, still same result... Picture quality is AWESOME but in video mode it looks blurry. Can you please tell me what kind of Memory card are you using ? Could this be the reason for the quality loss ? Should I get an Sony HG Dualspeed memory card? plz help !

@HDbloger Your sensor might be dirty, take off the lens and try to clean it be careful though

@filenstyle normal DSLR have 1,6 crop factor of 35mm FullFrame and this Sony have 1,5 so its a little biger sensor than in normal DSLR
