its not that hard lol, all you have to do is send it down a really long (skinny) pipe and keep feeding the pipe pressure...you can make things accelerate very quickly this way...If you watch the show Mythbusters, they had a myth where they had to try and get straw to go through a palm tree, they used the same method..

you're assuming that the vacuum is maintained. if the structural rigidity of the ball was lost, yet the vacuum maintained, it would collapse. in this situation, the air rushing through the first cracks in the glass allow an area of high pressure behind each loose glass shard, propelling it outward. you can see some inward collapse directly at the moment of impact after which the glass move outwards.

you could probably estimate the fps by doing the math. the one object says its falling from a 1.5 meter and it takes about 17 seconds to fall. if you do it real time it takes... what? about 1.3 seconds to fall
