corsets revealing outfits swimsuit competitions make up galore. how is this ok for kids? what exactly is this teaching a child? its ok to dance around half dressed for money and attention? seriously this is a disgusting display of child exploitation. these pageants are glorified pedo-playgrounds. more of these parents needs to wake up and realize what they are subjecting their kids to. this is not teaching poise. this is teaching how to be a plastic and how to get money for being fake.

@bookwormchick7 I'm 31, I just started tight-lacing about 3 weeks ago - and I can tell you that while it *is* working rather quickly to squeeze my ribs inward permanently, my ribs hurt like fuck and I think my stomach is somewhere around my sternum. My throat burns with stomach acid constantly. Still, IT'S MY CHOICE and I'M AN ADULT. No one still growing should tight-lace, imho, and I admit that the practice is horrible.

@arayalrio see I'm fine with adults choosing to tight-lace because they understand the risks (even i use a corset for some costumes i wear). But no growing girl should be put in one without proper care and safety precautions!
