i am so curious what's the ingredients of making wagashi? is it the same as making mochi?
Can anyone pls answer my curiousity. thx

there are different types of wagashi using different ingredients. Daifuku or mochi is one of them (rice flour with red bean paste inside).

As far as I know, they use different ingredients for different kinds of wagashi..but they use I think(I'm not 100% sure)- for namagashi- sweet potatoes and beans..They kinda boil and mash them. And for higashi, I think they use different kinds of sugar..
