:) I remember when I was about 14 years old, I had this mad crush on this white girl at a summer camp. So once, during my tenure at that camp, I wrote to her two love letters; one was definitely a love letter and the second note was a poem based on that little song from that musical I remember I wrote it like "You are 15 going on 16" I don't remember the rest of the poem. Then suddenly, everyone at the camp found out and next thing you know it, I got everyone singing songs from Sound of music.

I am a 16 year old guy going on 17, I also, am innocent as can be -- I've been called "The most innocent kid in our school". I refuse to drink, do drugs, and will not have sex (or "fool around") until marriage.

Believe it or not, I'm single, and perfectly fine with.

I just wish more could live a more pure life. Where I live, there are no "clean" girls -- everyone has done something that is a let-down. :/

It's not something extremely impressive to brag about, except it's good that you're true to your standards. I knew a girl, all she did with her life was sleep with strangers and smoke pot, she was also really into drinking and meth. She went missing sometime ago and I haven't cared enough to worry about her, it wasn't the first time, she's gone missing before and had everyone worried about her only to return drunk (She had been away at a party and told no one) Actually, there is something wrong with those girls as people. More often than not. She was ridiculous and she's likely dead now.

I was very young when I used to watch this movie, and I didn't understand anything they were singing about in this scene, nor did I understand Rolf was a Nazi. Now that I watch it as a young adult, I understand so much more of the actual plot, but it robs me of some of the romance and magic. It's an oddly bittersweet tradeoff.

The beautiful scenery, that wonderful gazebo, innocence, a drop-dead musical score. Exquisite. When I was 16 and had my first car, I sneaked off to see The Sound of Music at our little town theatre, probably 30 times !! It totally took me out of a violent family situation into romance and adventure. I love that movie and still do. Truly beautiful.
