in the next few years,it will get better,You will scan door with hand held scanner,down load to PC software program,input your changes,download to CNC machine,machine new panel out of foam,cover in fiber,plastic,carbon etc make your cut outs,install speakers etc.perfect,OEM quality

iif you dont want to use the original panel like a mold , you can make a copy of that panel, just cover the panel with blue masking tape then with a brush filll the panel with contact cement and then put the cloth next with various fiberglass resin layers ,, wait until that piece is finally dry.,... AND THEN YOU WILL HAVE A BASE TO BEGIN THE PROYECT ..

That piece turned out real nice fellas. I'm thinking bout sho truckin my kenworth t2000(road tractor) but i dont know fiberglass and i noticed you used the actual door as a frame. What if the door is warped by weather and worn-out, what would you do? U know not smooth lines anymore. Make a whole new door?

fleece in normally the best cloth for fiberglassing as is absorbs the resin well.

and nice finished project man looks sweet as.. pro didnt need so much editing tho was a little hard to read
