For all people not knowing anything about aviation but desperately need to comment ... AF7 is not at fault. It had been cleared to be where it was.
The Comair plane stopped short from where it should've been and didn't call the tower, hence the A380 received clearance.

This is why the seatbelt sign doesn't come off until the plane comes to a complete stop at the terminal and all engines are off.
