@Kalicoh It's not like today's movies are much better in that department. Granted, you don't see this kind of extreme fakes, but half of the actors who play foreign characters in recent movies have little or no resemblance to the actual people living in those countries. In most cases race/nationality/culture are all crudely represented. In my case, I clearly see it in movies with supposedly Spanish characters, which look either like Mexicans or like a cardboard stereotype (flamenco, fiesta..).
