Just to avoid misconceptions among themselves and their public, they are playing drama. Americans are not corrupt, their Govt. is corrupt. Americans will no longer trust their own Govt. if they release Aafia. American Public is feeling pity on Aafia but not to the extent of being innocent. If they somehow come to know that she is innocent, the American Govt. will be busted.

Public may ask the same question to the judges after her release. The Question which is being asked in Muslim World, IF SHE IS INNOCENT, WHY HAS SHE BEEN IN THEIR CUSTODY FOR SO MANY YEARS? I wish Americans could answer this. They know they are wrong, they are just hiding themselves. And yes, Mr. faisalleothelionskin, she is a Pakistani citizen since she has born. Though she has lived in US for 12 years and never applied for their citizenship.
