This song is so beautiful. <3 I was curious... does anyone know what kind of instrument was used in this video? It sort of sounds like a violin yet reminds me of a shamisen (I believe it's called?) in some way. It has such a unique sound and I'm just so baffled as to what kind of instrument produces such a peacefully sharp sound.

If you closely examine this picture, you'll notice two people on the other bridge. Perhaps this picture is about unrequited love. The long-haired girl is forlorn as her object of affection is on the other side with another girl. Maybe the long-haired girl is single and she's sad that she'll never find true love. Either way, this song captures this picture's theme perfectly.

This was our ending SYF 2011 song :) We put it in our play - A Thousand Cranes. Each time I hear this piece. I would be reminded of Sadako Sasaki and the play we put up. This song brings a lot of memories indeed.
