I played this piece with the city jazz band in Virginia Beach, VA. The solo is actually allocated for 1st tenor sax. This man played this improv solo on bassoon better than the 1st tenor player in the VA Beach jazz band. VERY IMPRESSIVE. Keep up the good work, my friend. Very toned chops.

Very nice, but I wouldn't trade my tenor sax for a bassoon. Probably a fair bit harder to play than the sax.

@gsco82 Bassoon is A LOT harder than sax lol.. I play Bari sax and Bassoon and Sax is soooo easy.. Bassoon is a lot more fun imo and sounds a million times better, but Sax is fun to mess around with and it's shiny :P

This is really great. It's so refreshing to see the bassoon played in any other way besides classical. It just gets boring seeing the same thing over and over again with such a great instrument! I am very interested in doing new things with the bassoon.
