Hi Mickey...my mentor! I finally found this video and wanted to say ..Thank You! Mickey, what are your amp and delay settings on this song? Can you let us know what you are using and the settings for this video? The sound on your steel is awesome!
I opted not to place a Franklin change on pedal 1. the reason is that it makes the "splits" harder to tune..So my low E (12) goes down to C#, (9) goes to C#...Subsequently this gives me a m7th across the board, and the F lever render it Major...
Hi. Probably Mick has on the furthest pedal on the left the so-called Frankiln pedal. So A,B and C are the second, third and fourth. I have the same change on my steel. I call the first pedal "zero"
Hey there Mr. Adams, I don't play one of these beasts - I did play around with one some years ago, but I didn't have the patience to carry on! :-(. But you have me confused - I thought the 'A' pedal was furthest to your left - yet you refer to your 'A' as what I would see as the 'B'. Or have things altered down the years? lol Love to watch your lessons - I may even dig out my old Sho-Bud and have another go! :-) Great channel. :-)
Wow! I appreciate you breaking it down like this. I remember hearing this tune on the radio for the first time when I was kid living out in Kansas. Bruce B. became my pedal steel hero. His precision and taste just killed me. I pieced together a simplified version I've played for years but this is the real deal! Thanks again. Jody
