A trade secret! Its a pain, depends on how rusted/stuck the pedal is. One way is to heat the thing up with a torch, then let it cool (put snow, ice on it). Heavy hammering is the other?
hey i have the same problem with mij mtb but the inside of my crank is deformed a bit so that's probaly your problem. i've temporarilly fixed it with isolation tape. you know the stuf you put on pipes for the bearing to be snug.
You could probably pace these videos out a bit more. No need to smash through the whole procedure in a minute.
