  • watch the fight with doug jones and harold johnson, another virtually unknown great boxer. a clinic on boxing by both

  • If there was a cruiserweight division during the sixties Jones would be in the boxing hall of fame.He was to big to fight in the light heavy division and was forced to fight heavyweights who were much bigger than him.He and Jerry Quarry would have been greats in the cruiserweight division.

  • @xxdonaldqxx It's funny that you say that, Jones was a small HW. I thought Ali won a close decision. But Jones was good. He was too small for HW but the funny thing is if he was fighting today at that weight he was then, he would beat most of these bums today.

  • @Rasclot222 The heavyweights of the sixties and seventies would run circles around the the heavyweights of today.Todays heavyweights are bigger but have less stamina and don't know the basics as well.

  • @xxdonaldqxx I agree 100% I tried to tell someone that the weight and height really doesn't mean much if you don't have skill. Sonny Liston would kill these HW's today. His jab alone would drop fighters like David Haye and Ruiz. Even some of the fighters from the 30's and 40's would give these HW"s a run for there money. Because of skill and endurance. These train for 12 and still gas out. Look at Areola can't even go 10 rounds.

  • Doug Jones was a better fighter then some give him credit for. I thought when I first saw his fight with Clay that he won, but it didn't go his way.

  • Doug Jones!!! Thanks, man.

  • i did not know Foster and jones box each other , great video
