Actually, a no-miss play is usually when you survive a single play -- like clearing a single level or a stage, for one -- *without* even losing a single man or ship at all. That is what we 2d shooting-game fans commonly know it as, TheDailyStroller.
Actually, I thought I included that "boot-up"-like screen at the beginning for a piece of some arcade-like nostalgia, just to show you a sample of how arcades usually do their RAM-ROM checks when they are first turned on, acidglow. ;)
Actually, this weapon is called the Reflex Ring, which is DEFINITELY one of the rather awesomest weapons that should be in *every* Gradius game, I think!!! Cough, Konami, cough!! :D
(Also, I gotta add that this weapon is one of the most fun ones, too!!!)
This is good... But you missed numerous times...

This demo was designed for what system? Arcade?

Actually, it was designed originally for Windows, jorgecarica. This game was not released in the arcades at all.
Thanks a lot for the question, though! :D !

That boss kind of reminds me of the first boss from Pulstar except for those scary looking projectiles.

This level reminds me of MSX Gradius's skeleton level.

Yes, yes it does. ;) Only this time, it is a LOT better designed in this game, not to mention a real tough but conquerable challenge as well!!
