@abdulbarijan engines are still being worked on as well as minor body parts hence thats why its still a prototype. the russian air force commander said that this plane was going to be 100% stealth and pentagon admits its the only real competion for the f-22. and like I said china is 10-15 years behind, thats the big whoop. and besides that they never showed the ability to make a good plane alone...maybe once the j-20 comes out and gets upgrades but then Russia and US will already be moved on
ooh so engine inlet design itself is being worked on which means u need the whole testing of design stuff again..i'll give u the example of JFT (which i know about) It had some of its features changed like addition of DSi inlets and LERX it took 3 years for another prototype to fly with these changes..and china is known for fast speeds of development..compare the design of J-20 and T-50 J-20 is easily more stealthy ...and J-20 itself is a prototype dont u think it'll be refined as well

J-11B's byfar surpass the orignal SU-27's ..chinese are operator of both Su-27's and J-11's so why would they cancel the order of further Su-27's when they know that their stuff is bad..hint:theyve gotten far better..

@abdulbarijan hmm i understand what your saying there. however in a fight i still got my money on Russia, like i said china is 10-15 years behind in the aerospace game, Pak-FA even if it cant stay stealth(which Russian officials say it can), the Pak-FA will have way more complex electronics, such as Pilot Assist, something no other 5 gen fighter has
well even if i were to say chinese were behind i wont go and say 10-15 years ..they have pretty much mastered most of the aerospace stuff and the maturing process is going on...
what is to be understood here is that if PAK_FA doesn't have radar blockers which is the only thing that can save its exposed blades..it must have a very complex EW suite to make up for it..but then the comparison becomes more difficult since its way to hard to get info on subsystems and avionics in detail..
what we can estimate is PAK_FA will surely be detected first since it will have a bigger RCS..but then the next thing would be the EW coming into play chinese have done very good job on that producing very good suites so its going to be tuff ...
but the person who detects first will get an edge.. and since the EW suites will pretty much even it up the fight will go in to visual in which the one pointing their HMS's first on other jets will be havin the best chance..

Not necessarily. The big target are from the nozzles because that's where all the heat comes out. Please note, the F-22 Raptor DOES NOT use DSI intakes. But it's nozzles are well designed for being stealthy.
The advantages of DSI intakes are:
1. Lower production costs.
2. Lower maintenance costs.
3. Ease of maintenance.
4. Ease of production, and do so in a shorter period of time.
DSI intakes just make the overall thing less complex and cheaper to both manufacture and operate.
@waqasayub22 F-22 is the aircraft with the lowest RCS at the moment. No aircraft on earth can match its stealth characteristics.f F-35 has better avionics. They are no longer in production since they still intend to ban exports. They won't even sell it to Japan.

first off there is no chance of ws-15,ws-13 is being tested in CAC,as for radar it might be AESA or KLJ-07 V(2) plus its not a L band radar,i just hope payload increases theoratically it should considering they are using composites and a more powerful engine

ooh so engine inlet design itself is being worked on which means u need the whole testing of design stuff again..i'll give u the example of JFT (which i know about) It had some of its features changed like addition of DSi inlets and LERX it took 3 years for another prototype to fly with these changes..and china is known for fast speeds of development..compare the design of J-20 and T-50 J-20 is easily more stealthy ...and J-20 itself is a prototype dont u think it'll be refined as well

what is to be understood here is that if PAK_FA doesn't have radar blockers which is the only thing that can save its exposed blades..it must have a very complex EW suite to make up for it..but then the comparison becomes more difficult since its way to hard to get info on subsystems and avionics in detail..

what we can estimate is PAK_FA will surely be detected first since it will have a bigger RCS..but then the next thing would be the EW coming into play chinese have done very good job on that producing very good suites so its going to be tuff ...
but the person who detects first will get an edge.. and since the EW suites will pretty much even it up the fight will go in to visual in which the one pointing their HMS's first on other jets will be havin the best chance..

@abdulbarijan the Chinese are 10-15 years behind. military experts get these dates because Chinese did not make their first prototype until 15 years after the US and 10 years after Russia.and like i said the Chinese have never been too bright in the aerospace game, they proved it when they have to copy the J-11. J-10 is the only fighter that makes me have some respect for them. half their air force is Russian, their su-27, su-30 MKK and you can even say J-11...

Not necessarily. The big target are from the nozzles because that's where all the heat comes out. Please note, the F-22 Raptor DOES NOT use DSI intakes. But it's nozzles are well designed for being stealthy.
The advantages of DSI intakes are:
1. Lower production costs.
2. Lower maintenance costs.
3. Ease of maintenance.
4. Ease of production, and do so in a shorter period of time.
DSI intakes just make the overall thing less complex and cheaper to both manufacture and operate.

the design is based on a prototype called Super-7 which itself is based on the Mig-21. the paki's chosen the french weapon system, that doesn't mean it's stuck with it and it has absolutely nothing to do with Israel. and the engine is from Ukraine. the root and capacity of this plane is pretty out in the open.

I am surprised Jf17 is improving day by day. And i bet due to this R & D project of JF17 thunder with the help of chinese, Pak have learned lot of things, and is coming with new idea everyday. USA got 30 years for F16, while PAK is doing very fast Pace. Pak not only completed tested phase but successfully flown 4 prototypes in only 7 years. Still no full stop, even making block ii with stealth features.

secondly having a small RCS doesnt mean anything unless ur flying a stealth aircraft. RCS of 1m2 is in "Clean" configuration, when weapons are attached it will go up 4-5m2.
and one more thing, it currently does NOT posses nuclear strike capability! Ra'ad air-launched cruise missile can only be launched from a mirage for now....however it will have the capability to launch Ra'ad in FUTURE!
