yeaH I think this was when yamaha was also taking a shot at cometing with the cheaper casios etc. ..i forget if the casio cz101 was before or right after.
(Basically this and alot of other things they made for years were dx9's in smaller boxes)
ha ha ha, I've NEVER seen that before. I bought a DX100 when they were released ! I remember the crap demo tape that Yamaha brought out for it, with a Phil Collins - One More Night version.
What a con tho, because the demo tape was beefed up with countless effects processors. When you actually got the synth you were pretty pissed off.
Still. A good bit of kit. I managed to get some great sounds out of it eventually.
