You should make the castle fall to the ground and maybe explode once the level in it is beaten. That'd be a pretty neat event for the overworld, although I'm not sure how much more complex it'd be.

Still, the floating castle looks awesome, seriously. Good work.

By the way, did you use the actual register or some mirror for it? As far as I know, directly writing to registers doesn't work most of the time - I might be wrong though.
