  • THANK YOU MAN all of these dummies on google say go to ctrl alt f1 and stuff

  • @thegameon Your welcome. CTRL ALT f1 will work for ati cards, but I never had any luck with Nvidia cards doing that.

  • hey guy goodluck and I am highly thankful to you

my last one was something like this: intel r 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller.

please help me i dont understand nothing of this drivers stuff :P

  • Yay, it works.

    Thanks alot!

    5/5

  • Awesome, can I ask what distro you use?

  • Backtrack 4.

  • i had to install root under ubuntu and then me typed ,, init 3'' but then said Symbol init 3 is not defined in current scope ;((

  • @xAkashix Your right Ubuntu does not allow you to drop into a text user interface mode only with init 3. I'll have to install Ubuntu to a partition and see what can be done.

  • A Fedora fan, I see. Great Distro, but it will be a while before I move on from Vectorlinux as my base for tutorials. Most of your requests are Fedora Specific, but I can work on the ones that are more general, like the "executing java files"

  • Do you have a request?

  • Nice! I was wondering how the hell do I install my nvidia drivers (1st time linux user)

    Thanks
