  • Thank you for posting this video...I was first introduced to this method while attending beauty college...It scared the mess out of me cause I have beautifully curly hair that was flat ironed...One of the girls suggested I do this and I thought I would revert back to my natural curly state....That hair swang...Thank you for posting this video...I wrap my hair at night with a silk scarf and cover it with a comfortable beenie..The hair comes out very similar to this..Can't wait to see more videos

  • i need to come to ohio..and let u hook me up!!! love the vid!

  • "tu", are you serious

  • Yes I was serious. It got your attention didn't it? Thanks for watching. Have A Good Day.

  • @imamkuwna tell girl and yes darling and it works everytime, i do it every 2 weeks thanks for posting this keep doing your thang girl :)

  • Smile you're on camera - you're model looked very stiff but her hair looked devine - great work Keesha - keep it up ;)

  • would this help straighten out the roots

  • what can I use instead of a full head dryer? my comments aren't showin i dont know why.

  • omg, i have a queston what style d you think wold fit me and what can I do to achieve that style or keep it up?

  • I really love it.

  • Love it! Thanks for mentioning not using fine tooth combs or rat-tail combs. I am Native American and white, but with mostly white features (pale skin, light eyes, and straight "white-girl" hair), but my 13 year old daughter is bi-racial ( with very curly hair, but not too kinky) and just had her first relaxer (by a professional) so we are trying to learn everything we can to care for it, style it, and keep it looking beautiful. Your video was very helpful!

  • if her hair was cute and curly, why did you relax it?? This doesn't make sense to me

  • is there anything u can use oter than a dryer because i dont have those dryers you sit under

  • Keesha! Have you ever heard of a brand called "Nu Expressions"? Its owned by the broner bros company.

  • GOOD

  • DO U THINK THE CHI IRON IS A GOOD ONE

  • its amazing .

  • hey! I know my hair isn't like this my hair is very very thick. I haave african type hair. Even if i relax my hair it won't be like that. Do you have any advice to help me ???? I am begging you!

  • I kno alot a ppl all across america use design essentials but i believe it is truly something alot of ohio beautician cling to as their #1 product...felt at home watching ur videos seeing u use the product becuz thats all my hair stylists use an sell =)

  • yes i believe it does matter. i think the better brand ones have a better heat control.

  • HI Keesha, I was wondering if you have ever tried Garnier Frutice. I use the Length and Strength system, and i love it!!! My hair has really been growing since I started to use it. I just permed my hair, and its already growin. which conditiomer would you prefer, the Olive Oil conditoiner or the Design Essentials?

  • hi!!! no i have never tried it. i hear it is pretty good though. i prefer design. if you have used the olive oil, tell me about it. i never used it.

  • I love this look and my hair is cut somewhat like your model. I did all the steps, but used Kerakare oil sheen. My hair had the movement but it was flat. What do you suggest I do differently?

  • you can try it with a roller set done on large rollers. wrap your roller set after it dries apply the plastic wrap

  • ok keesha i went to the beauty supply store and bought a dryer, some wrap lotion and some plastic wrap today! i tried what you said and it came out alright. im not a professional and i haven't had a relaxer in 2 months so it wasn't as nice as yours...lol. anyhoo, im not sure what the plastic wrap is supposed to do but if you say it makes a difference then im gonna keep doing it. thanks for the tips =)

  • your welcome and good luck

  • Is this safe to do weekly?

  • i haven't experienced any problems. Although i will say at some point you do have to give your hair a break from heat. try a roller set, on large rollers and then plastic wrap.

  • Does this method work for natural yet straightened hair?

  • it will work as long as you dont have alot of oil in your hair. plus it has to straightened really well.

  • Thanks. I think that's why it didn't work.

  • I am in the process of going back natural. I have about 2 inches of new growth. will this method still work for me?

    Thanks!

  • yes it will. make sure you get that new growth straight with your flat iron.

  • im in cleve. where are you

  • Does this work for white girl's hair too?

  • good question. ive never tried it. i think that would make a good video. minus the oil though. thanks for asking.

  • I'm going to def. try this in two weeks!

  • Great!

  • Nice.

  • that ia a really nice wrap, could you post some of your shorter hair looks

  • i tried your method and it worked well! My hair felt extra soft and it did great! thanks for the tips! =]

  • your very welcome.

  • CHECK OUT MY VIDEOS

  • what shampoo and conditioner do you use?

  • Thanks for asking. I use Design Essentials shampoos and conditioners.

  • her hair is CUTE

  • Thank you!!!

  • I appreciate you coming thru to check it out. You will love it

  • I wish she was located in miami, fl....

  • thank you!! i wish i did also.=)

  • THANK YOU! I tried the glad wrap and my hair feels wonderful! When I wraped and dried under the dryer it was a little stiff. I think this was from the Motions wrap foam. Can you do tut on wrapping short hair?

    Leisa

  • your welcome! thanks for watching. try to get a beautician you know get you some Design Essentials foam. that motions foam has alot of alcohol in it. so its drying to your hair, thats why it was stiff.how short are we talking?

  • Thank you Keesha. I will get my hair dresser to get the design essentials. My hair is shorter than yours I can flat iron it with 3/8in. irons. I have shelved the motions and blow dry, flat iron, wrap with glad and under dry like you said. I actually think I did a great job and it's a lot softer.

  • can you make a step by step video showing us exactly what you have done because i understand the concept but when you flat ironed the hair did you just staighten it or did you straighten and curl(bump) let us know

  • i flat ironed it with a bump. i will do one asap, until then check out Ateya. she did a step bt step from my video. let me know what you think.

  • hey i live in cleveland and i was wondering if you can achieve that look on hair thats transition into natural. I have been without a relaxer for 3months now and i will drive 30minutes to akron to get my hair done!

  • yes u can. i would like to see you hair first. think about doing a video on your natural hair journey.

  • im not really sure if i wanna continue going natural because i do not in any way shape or form have "good hair"! So it is a struggle to get it straight without using the hotcomb. But i will definitely consider doing a vid on my journey so far

  • Hello, i loved this tutorial, but i do have one question i do have ear length hair and i was wondering after washing and deep conditioning what products do you use on the hair before blow drying, because i am very interested in design essentials line but need to know what works best...

  • Come to my page and see the videos I did in response to your dry wrap. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • Her hair is gorgeous!

  • i am in the process of going natural would i still have the same effect..i havent had a perm since august

  • yes you can, even with natural hair. the ceramic flat iron is fantastic!

  • Wow Keesha! I wish i still had my length. My hair is about ur length can I still achieve the look and feel?

    Thanks Leisa

  • yes u can. i do it with my own hair. i just did it today. its so bouncy! you will love it!

  • Love your video.

  • I will definitely be trying this! How often do you suggest doing it?

  • every week works best

  • I love it!! I have braid now, But i am putting a texturizer in in about 2 weeks!!! I love your tutorials!! Very informative!! I cant wait til i have heathly strong hair... Just have to find the right hair regimen!!!

  • TOLEDO

  • OH OK. I'VE NEVER BEEN THERE.

  • I'M WAS BORN IN OHIO WHAT CITY ARE YOU IN

  • AKRON, WHERE WERE YOU BORN?

  • Her her looks silky and smooth, is this with a relaxer or without one? And if so how often should you relax your hair?

  • thank you! she does have a relaxer. i suggest a retouch every 6-8 weeks.

  • BEAUTIFUL... I am going to do a response to this video and I want you to tell me what you think... Also, come visit my page and see my makeup tutorials... My hair is featured, I guess, in these vids!!!

  • thank you and i will definatly visit ur page. cant wait to see the video

  • thanks for watching let me know what happens

  • yes it sure is. give it a try , its great. thanks for watching

  • this was very helpful. I'll definitely try it!!

  • thanks for watching and let me know how it turns out

  • Hi, I love your videos...but i have a question, i have ear length hair and after washing and deep conditionind, i air dry overnight or sit under the dryer, before using a flat iron i just apply wild growth oil or almond oil and proceed with using heat but the question is should i use some type of moisturizer then seal with oil before doing so??

  • Luv your tutorials........but i have a question, i have short hair that's a little past ear length and after deep conditioning i sit under the dryer or let it dry overnight, when dry could i use oil only ( i've been using wild growth oil)...and proceed to flat iron or do i have to use a moisturizer then seal with oil prior to flat ironing my hair....

  • well you dont want add too much oil it will weigh your hair down. you can shampoo and condition then start drying add just alittle spray shine and flat iron. you can have more healthy hair that is alive and full of body without alot of oil

  • what shampoo and conditioner did u use? the hair looks GORGEOUS!! :D

  • thank you ! i use all design essentials products

  • Not sure if you have responded to this question or not but can i buy that spray from the store??

  • thanks for asking but no you cant buy it in the store. if there is a salon in your area that uses it they may retail it

  • Thanks for posting this. I use Saran Wrap (Glad Wrap...lol) as well when I wrap my hair in a circle and it makes my hair feel so good!

  • LOL... I KNOW! ITS UNBELIEVABLE!

  • I am soooo happy you said you can blowdry and flatiron...some think that is too much heat but my hair is very well with it....so thank you!

  • Shut up bitch you will just try to steal her ideal and make a video on it. WARNING ateya steals people ideals and puts it in her videos. WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING

  • Nice!

  • thank you very much! =)

  • I have a question, I an a 14 year old male with a 2 inch affro and i just started growing it out it is so thick to where it sticks straight up. I want hair like caucasians(white people, no offense), I know i have to grow it out some more. How do i get that hair? I tried to straighten it but it just stood up and i am scared to turn the heat up cause you can tell what part is straight and which part is affro. i cant find a hot comb and they high (pricey) Help me.

  • I have a question it doesnt have to do with this...video which is AMAZING!

But can I go natural without having a big chop? Would my hair get better if I just didn't put a relaxer in my hair anymore??

    Thanks.

  • thanks for tuning in. yes u can. all you have to do is a trim as your hair grows and gets its new growth. trim 1" every month or so. depends on how fast or slow your hair grows. i enjoy my relaxer, but relaxers are not for everyone. if your hair is all natural it has no chemicals. so thats what might work for you. still remember to work out a healthy hair regimen weekly with or without your relaxer. ttys

  • do you have to use plastic wrap can i use a garbage bag

  • i wouldnt suggest a trash bag. it does not have the same chemical make up as plastic wrap. plastic wrap all the way. =)

  • Thanks for posting this very helpful. I was wondering if you could help me, when i do a roller wrap it comes out dry can you please tell me what i'm doing wrong.

  • your very welcome. it depends on the condition of your hair first. secondly the shampoo and conditioner you use weekly does matter. i suggest design essentials. next what setting agent are you using does it contain alot of alcohol always look at the first 3 ingredients if alcohol is one dont use what type of rollers plus the brush and oils you use all these things have to be considered

  • Thank you so much for all your help most Hairstylists won't answer questions like this one....I've tried asking a few.....LOL!!!

  • can this be done on natural hair?

  • yes after the hair has been pressed out with a ceramic iron and as less oil as possible. thanks

  • yay i'm going to try that

    i hope it works

    and love your hair cut

  • thank you so much. Can't wait to see the video.

  • oh wow, im going to have to try that!!! I will do a video on it

  • ok i cant wait to see your outcome.. if you have any questions write me

  • Her hair is beautiful. You did a wonderful job on her hair. I was wondering if you will make a video showing how you wrap the hair? I don't know if you will or not by you being a cosmetologist and not wanting to show your technique (lol) but it doesn't hurt to ask. Great Work and keep up the good work.

  • thank you so much. i will do that. if i can show my own clients.. i can show any body. lol
