Oh how I miss going up to the Big 4 Ice caves to go sledding on the 4th of July each year. After the sledding, go down the Mt. Loop Hwy and have our 4th of July picnic along the the Stilly around Red Bridge. I lived in Granite Falls for 42 years and cursed the rain, I miss it so, especially when it gets over 110 degrees is this desert.
@theshipman same here! :-D I lived there till I was 8 then moved east to MA then to WI / MN, I ended up in Alaska for 8 years and now I'm back in MN.... but I'm finally making plans to go home!!! :-D
Seattle's great if you like a dark, cold, wet mildewy environment.
All winter I fight against mildew growth in parts of my home.
Its about 95 percent cloudy through fall and winter and often times spring too.
This last summer we had 2 months tops of decent weather.
What summer we do have is beautiful though.

@consv It's better than 116f DRY heat in the summer in AZ! Tired of the heat, need to venture back to Seattle. Haha, more pow for me to shred!

Seattle is a cesspool of liberal, self-loathing, depressed enviroterrorists. Pass.

Please post a part 3 - Im hooked.
I was in Seattle for a 4 day layover when I got back from the Iraq war in August 2003.
And I loved it. It was a eutopia of sorts for me especially coming from Iraq.
Also - could you do an inside
and outside tour of Lindas Tavern?
It was supposedly the last place Kurt Cobain of the rock band Nirvana was seen alive. Thanks alot!
Thank you and be safe out there.
