Do you not find it funny that the ave gvt job pays over 70k a year while the ave private sector pays just under 40k. People like me took a pay decrease to stay in business while the gvt just voted themselves a raise. FED gvt. Local gvt and state have taken cuts too. NOT the FED noooo but they wont take a pay cut cause they spend OTHER people's money. Economic point is, you cannot borrow your way out of debt. The gvt is trying to do this.

Instead of taxing people and giving money to people who pay no taxes, let the working people who pay taxes keep their money and decide how much to give to charities and what have you to help the people who need help and not the people who take advantage of the system and that IS the problem. When you tax the people that make good money, they dont hire people to cut grass, wash clothes, pressure wash, invest in their own companies, pay good wages cause they can afford to, not lay people off, hire janitors, instead of making people clean up after themselves. The Clinton administration had a balanced budget because they worked with Newt Gingrich (Republicans) to achieve it. Giving Clinton all the credit for maintaining a balanced budget is unfair-both parties deserve credit. The GOP wouldn't let Clinton outspend the budget. If you do the math with all the tax increases (not just income taxes) under Obama's plan, taxes for people making over 200K would go up to 50%, so Varney is correct when you take all taxes into account (payroll, cap gains, SS).
