I actually like stone tower temple :| but like you said. your opinion,
I like that temple because they don't have ENOUGH places like this... well just going upside down is really what i mean. the temple. did feel a little bland though
Hey cjszero01 i just have 1 things to say and that is that I liked the Water Temple the first time i tried it I kinda had to use a strategy guide because i was lost and then the 2nd time around i got used to it and now i know exactly where im going and yes i do admit its annoying to switch from you're regular boots to ur iron boots to ur regular to ur iron to ur regular to ur iron and etc.
Great list dude. Now I'm not saying your opinion was wrong, but if I were to add one dungeon to the hated side, it would be Arbiter's Grounds from Twilight Princess. I just HATE that place! The puzzles were annoying, the enemies were hard, and it was annoying. I only liked two things about it. The item, and the boss fight. The rest was just... so...ANNOYING!, >:C
Someone else actually hates stone tower!? I thought I was the only one TT_TT It is literally the only thing I disliked about Majora's mask, and had to be the biggest kill joy ever...
Great bay was seriously annoyingly hard initially. Then I went away for a few years, learned to play, came back and actually enjoyed it, and finished MM. Got lost half a dozen times in the process though. I admit, I forgot the first key in the forest temple as well, it had me stumped for a while. Spirit temple is up there in my loves at least for the soundtrack.
The water temple in OoT wasn't a problem for me. I just wish they made the iron boots for the common item area, so you could set to a C button like in WW.
@cjszero01 Really? Maybe I'm alone on that. Something about the constant use of the eye of truth, the hover boots, and having to exit the temple every twenty minutes to get magic power. I also thought that the bonga bonga was a stupid boss.
I completely agree on your number one favorite, though.
My least favorite temple EVER in a 3d Zelda was the forsaken fortress in WW, why? cuz it didn't feel like a temple or dungeon, it didn't even feel like a level yet it was treated like one, even worse you GO BACK a 2nd time to fight the damn bird! Weirder yet you honestly get NO reward (besides heart container) for killing the bird? SO WHAT WAS THE POINT!? I also hated the fact you had to be stealthy (I know no sword) the first time, what is this MGS? As for favorite, Arbiter Grounds, oh yea
@frenchfrey65 I think another hated one btw was Zant's Castle, I can't play that level again, that place gives me heebygeeby's like no other! It really is a creepy place, the music, the mood, THOSE DAMN HANDS! Not to mention Zant is a lunatic! As for the Arbiter Grounds as to why it's my favorite, despite obvious reference to the Forest Temple in the first half, I loved the boss! Using the spinner plus fire temple boss remix, felt so fucking awesome!
jaby jaby's belly master quest was both difficult but also hilarious, the cows were switches, who knew, tho I found out they were very soon because as soon as I saw them I instantly pulled out my slingshot and shot one, just to tease it, and it made a magical noise and the door opened, I didn't even know it was unlocked to begin with, I felt smart.
there was only 1 dungeon i hated off the top of my head. That would be in legend of zelda oracle of seasons I BELIEVE it was the 6th dungeon but i remember i got stuck cause i couldnt find a key only to pick up the game years later to find it was in a HIDDEN room. i had to go around hitting my sword against walls for hours trying to find this door was annoying
Jabu Jabu's Belly was such a nuisance. You have these jellyfish that are immune to your slingshot, and if you hit them you get electrocuted, taking damage. It is especially annoying if you gullibly search for heart pieces, of course you get the boomerang which efficiently kills the jellyfish, but it still a major pain. And don't get me started the awfully designed mid-boss which took me 10 minutes to kill.
3. My number 1 hated dungeon is Dodongo's Cavern, I could do the Water Temple 100% blind, but not this one. (Also how was I supposed to figure out I was supposed to bomb the eyes of that damn dragon?
@cjszero01 I read that, and that makes NO sense, I tried Din's Fire, I tried a lot of other things, and that was the one thing in the game I had to look up online.
@Zknight7126 I agree with you on the water temple, but for some reason, my second time through the forest temple, I had quite a bit of trouble.. I forgot 90% of the stuff, didnt do as well on the boss, and overall, it just flowed less.. smoothly as it did for me the first time through
you know whats funny my friend corey was stuck on the water temple for 7 years just to figure out out he needed to blow up that wall above where you meet ruto
Gotta be honest with you, The Water Temple, is my favourite OoT dungeon, and the Stone Tower Temple is my favourite all time Zelda dungeon. AND The music in the Wind Temple in OoT is my favourite dungeon music of all time lol (though I do hate that temple). Goes to show you the different experiances different players can have with the game :)
OoT Master Quests bottom of the well actually made me give up on zelda for 2 months worst thing is ive done it before with ease and i forgot how to do it when i came to the 3ds version come to think of it i still havent done it :(
God, I played OoT 3D master quest... and that freaking dungeon gave me the biggest headache ever (bottom of the well) I'm kinda disapointed to see the Wind Temple on your hated list... but Thrilled to see the Earth Temple on your love list.
@despeinado340 New? If they were new they wouldn't be in the exact same spot and have the exact same rooms now would they? Master Quest is OoT but the puzzles in the dungeons are vastly more difficult than in the regular version.
@puunyluuny Only on the 3DS and that's only half of it. The game layouts are the same but the dungeons in the game have had their puzzles changed to exceddingly difficult levels.
3:27 glad she did, F green ganon blood, covering up mermaid/fishpeople, and accommodating to Fucking muslim islameists-the cresentmoon/star was better... Best thing about the 80-90's it was more free, before all the PC bull. It's like Lucas/spielberg changing history for today, F that!
I hated Under the Well in Master Quest too. I was trying to go through that game blind and without a guide (or at least as blind as you could play a hard mode) but that thing had me searching around for 2 hours before finally giving up and finding a guide. Damn switches behind fake walls, just that one switch
lol i played for the first time Oot i did the bottom of the well i went pass the water lowerer thingy i went though every chest in it then i found it then i had troble with the boss...XD
@cjszero01 what about the hated dungeons? which dungeon from skyward sword will replace one of them? if you are going to make a video about the skyward sword dungeons, then dont tell me which dungeon you will replace.
Water Temple wasn't as confusing my first time around, which is why I thought it wasn't designed bad... I got confused a few times.
But I liked Stone Tower the most in Majora's Mask. I have to agree with you, the quest getting there is a bitch then climbing to get up there isn't any more fun...
I agree with you on Great Bay Temple too, get design but you wouldn't believe how long it took me to beat the freakin' dungeon! It took 4 hours alone in the first basically 4 rooms (walking up pipes...)
i have just a couple of things to say here. 1. my personal hated dungeon is the shadow temple MQ version. it was ok for the first part, but as i went deeper inside it. i was missing a few keys and i had to backtrack alot just to find the keys that were hidden pretty well. thats why i hate the shadow temple MQ version the most. 2. the bottom of the well MQ version is actually not that bad. (continued in the next MSG)
@guyswan the puzzles are more difficult like u said, but each one practically leads you to the lens of truth if you memorize the dungeon layouts. even when u press a switch which opens the holes to the bottom floor, it even shows you which hole you gotta go down to activate the switch which activates the chest with the lens of truth. the only issue i had with that dungeon was finding the switch which was hidden in the painting by a sealed door but once i figured it out, i was good to go.
CJ i know its you're top 10 list and i respect that but I actually enjoyed the last four you put on you're hated list seeing that im younger than you i can still easily get through them and the music is excellent in Stone Tower and Wind Temple (more in Wind Temple) and although i agree that switching you're boots in the Water Temple over and over was annoying i liked everything else about it and yes i have played master quest it was a challenge i liked not too difficult or easy just right.
lol the first time i went through the water temple i had the game guide, then when i played it again i just kept exploring and figured it out without any help, beating it within about 2 or 3 hours
Haha oh come on! Master Quest was really easy! Ironically, I found the young link dungeons to be harder than the adult temples (except for the Fire and Spirit Temples). The bottom of the well was easy even in MQ. The one dungeon I just cannot stand is the Lakebed Temple :s It took me a long time to figure it out with those constant puzzles.
I was Playing the water temple yesterday, (which I don't really have much of a problem with) and I thought "wait, what about the exit of the dungeon. That make 11 ways to go" then I realized that for cjszero01, it probably is 12 directions.
@dofuspowa10 Windwaker was released in 2002-2003, twilight princess was released around 2006. It's ocarina of time that was released about 4 years before wind waker
Good list. I actually really liked stone tower temple but that's just my opinion :P i actually despised the snow one from majora's mask , forgot it's name....One of my favourites is the spirit temple
@Linklover20134 The City on the Sky is just too bloody goddamn big! Who makes a dungeon like that and doesn't just want to piss you off? Anyway, the puzzles, as I recall are kinda simple, they're just easy to overthink. One clue I can give you is that you can hang from certain ceilings with the Double Clawshot and you'll need to use the Iron Boots as well near the dungeon's end. But that place is a damn pain in the ass!
In my opinion I totally agree about the master quest difficulty switched roles. The Water Temple was a piece of cake in Master Quest and I was like wtf? Can't wait to see what you put in for Skyward Sword!
My Favorites: 5. Stone Tower Temple (MM) 4. Temple of Courage (PH) 3. Inside Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly (OoT) 2. Water Temple (OoT) 1. Wind Temple (WW) My Hated: 5. Ganon's Tower (OoT) - No Fucking Music... Really? Play an epic song to get you ready for Ganondorf. 4. Forest Haven (WW) 3. Minish Woods; Forgot 1st Dungeon Name (The Minish Cap) 2. Snow Head Temple (MM) 1. Shadow Temple (OoT)
I like the forest temple because,of the pictures and twisted hallways and everything! Good choice as your first best. I didn't love the goron dungeon on tp though,it took a while and I just got frustrated with the iron boot thing at times. I did like it but,I also didn't lol... yea,ik it may not make sense...I hope it does though
Water temple in master quest was actually pretty decent, music wise I thought OOT / WW had the best music of all zelda games, cant really say I have a 'worse' dungeon but I do constantly criticise how easy bosses get over time in new Zelda games.
Oddly enough the sky temple as well as spirit temple were one of my favourites.
Oh as for Eternal Darkness, it is worth playing, excellent storyline / gameplay
@SuperGameFan77 WHAT?!!!! the forest temple must be my number one or two the music was awesome it was the second best of the dungeons (the first one after they changed the fire temple one) it was dark, seriously zelda oot and majoras mask were the darkest games in the series even more than twilight princess they were more "mature" maybe thats the reason why oot is consider the best zelda game ever
@vikutaa its not awsome if you get stuck and the music laughs at you when you are already pissed, I hate the forest temple music, and parts of the dungon, sorry just my opinion
and i have to say forest temple really had it all: a nice difficulty level, terrific creepy atmosphere/music, great boss battle, awesome puzzles. it has to be one of my favorites, and i feel it's the standard they should aspire to reach when designing dungeons.
i actually like the water temple and wind temple. they're not that bad if you make a habit of actually using the dungeon map and compass properly, which most people don't because they almost expect an easy, semi-linear path through every dungeon. i actually really like most of the dungeons in this video, even the ones you hated. i wasn't crazy about the twilight princess dungeons, though, for the most part they were kind of boring and unmemorable and had no atmosphere.

favorites 5.I love this one it's awesome and also confusing 4.i don't really like this one, it was a bit boring 3.I find this place short but it's fun 2.I LOVE THIS PLACE 1.This is so fun. I love fighting the ghosts Hated 5.I didn't really pay attention this temple but i hated it 4.i got really confused when Makar got stuck 3.Suckish place 2.YOU...YOU THIS IS THE BEST DUNGEON EVER!!! 1.Oh man i totally agree with you after i bet it I swore i'd never play master quest again!!!
@cjszero01 its just i always hear it as a common complaint, but 3 really isn't that many. the only true complaint i had was it's easy to miss the time block in one of the rooms.
i completely agree with this list but the boss fight in mm is kinda weird if you do it oni link style but i agree i took me hours with some of those dungeons talk about pain in the butt i hate tp sky temple for a different reason it was as annoyin to as the water temple in oot
Don't feel bad about missing the key in the first room in the forest temple, In my most recent challenge playthrough (and I've played through this game at least 10 times) I forgot it and I was stumped for like a half hour trying to remember where it was, and I almost went to look at a walkthrough but I was to ashamed because I had never needed one before...
I actually liked the last temple in Majora's Mask, i found it interesting, the one dungeon that i hated though was the snowhead one, that one annoyed me so much cause of the bloody jump you have to do with the goron mask
I LOVED, and I mean LOVED, The City in the Sky. I still pop in Twilight Princess and go run around the completed dungeon. And the music for it is also amazing. I put it on my Christmas mix-tape last year.
Though I also have a fondness for the Water Temple from Ocarina, so there's that.
finally, for some reason everyone loves the sky temple in twilight princess, i hated it, minus the boss fight, the boss fight was fun. then again they think i'm crazy when i say i actually like the water temple in twilight princess (its my favorite temple)
At least they changed the iron boots problem in the 3d version

But I liked Stone Tower the most in Majora's Mask. I have to agree with you, the quest getting there is a bitch then climbing to get up there isn't any more fun...
I agree with you on Great Bay Temple too, get design but you wouldn't believe how long it took me to beat the freakin' dungeon! It took 4 hours alone in the first basically 4 rooms (walking up pipes...)
yogamoanyo 1 month ago
ok, i like the water temple, but its better in 3d version were you can use iron boots as an button item, so, its more confortable.

I like the water temple in oot because its design is so good

I hate the great bay temple, it's sooo confusing, and don't make me mention the boss!
10+ tries... never beat it.

@chozoboy10 Follow the pipes after you flip the valves. It's not confusing.

i have just a couple of things to say here. 1. my personal hated dungeon is the shadow temple MQ version. it was ok for the first part, but as i went deeper inside it. i was missing a few keys and i had to backtrack alot just to find the keys that were hidden pretty well. thats why i hate the shadow temple MQ version the most. 2. the bottom of the well MQ version is actually not that bad. (continued in the next MSG)
guyswan 1 month ago
@guyswan the puzzles are more difficult like u said, but each one practically leads you to the lens of truth if you memorize the dungeon layouts. even when u press a switch which opens the holes to the bottom floor, it even shows you which hole you gotta go down to activate the switch which activates the chest with the lens of truth. the only issue i had with that dungeon was finding the switch which was hidden in the painting by a sealed door but once i figured it out, i was good to go.

god i hated the water temple in ocarina! it took me about 3 hours. no joke
thelightknight27 1 month ago
CJ i know its you're top 10 list and i respect that but I actually enjoyed the last four you put on you're hated list seeing that im younger than you i can still easily get through them and the music is excellent in Stone Tower and Wind Temple (more in Wind Temple) and although i agree that switching you're boots in the Water Temple over and over was annoying i liked everything else about it and yes i have played master quest it was a challenge i liked not too difficult or easy just right.
DTPaustinDTP 1 month ago
lol the first time i went through the water temple i had the game guide, then when i played it again i just kept exploring and figured it out without any help, beating it within about 2 or 3 hours

excuse me, I meen Goron mines.
danin10donerd 1 month ago
I liked gorons mines because it was a fire dungeon (I am a piromaniac). I also like the temple of time because of the darknut boss fight.
danin10donerd 1 month ago

Justericpersonal 1 month ago
Water temple in master quest was actually pretty decent, music wise I thought OOT / WW had the best music of all zelda games, cant really say I have a 'worse' dungeon but I do constantly criticise how easy bosses get over time in new Zelda games.
Oddly enough the sky temple as well as spirit temple were one of my favourites.
Oh as for Eternal Darkness, it is worth playing, excellent storyline / gameplay
HiddenDM 1 month ago
You:Gets stuck in forest temple and buys a probably 15+ buck strategy guide and has to use a menu to switch boots in the water temple.
Me 10-15 years later: Gets stuck, googles it and is done in 5 mins, and taps a touch screen button to switch boots since it is an item in 3D.

SuperGameFan77 2 months ago
@SuperGameFan77 WHAT?!!!! the forest temple must be my number one or two the music was awesome it was the second best of the dungeons (the first one after they changed the fire temple one) it was dark, seriously zelda oot and majoras mask were the darkest games in the series even more than twilight princess they were more "mature" maybe thats the reason why oot is consider the best zelda game ever
vikutaa 1 month ago
@vikutaa its not awsome if you get stuck and the music laughs at you when you are already pissed, I hate the forest temple music, and parts of the dungon, sorry just my opinion

Yes I do. Tears, sweat and blood were shed voer that damned dungeon.
bionicle2122 2 months ago
and i have to say forest temple really had it all: a nice difficulty level, terrific creepy atmosphere/music, great boss battle, awesome puzzles. it has to be one of my favorites, and i feel it's the standard they should aspire to reach when designing dungeons.

i actually like the water temple and wind temple. they're not that bad if you make a habit of actually using the dungeon map and compass properly, which most people don't because they almost expect an easy, semi-linear path through every dungeon. i actually really like most of the dungeons in this video, even the ones you hated. i wasn't crazy about the twilight princess dungeons, though, for the most part they were kind of boring and unmemorable and had no atmosphere.

finalfantasylord1 2 months ago

Jcolinsol 2 months ago
finally, for some reason everyone loves the sky temple in twilight princess, i hated it, minus the boss fight, the boss fight was fun. then again they think i'm crazy when i say i actually like the water temple in twilight princess (its my favorite temple)
