  • This was me and my husbands song. We both chose it because it felt like us. He died at a very young age even though we had 30 yrs together it wasen' long enough, ,as i will love him forever.I placed a piece of leather wrapped in lace in his coffin and played this love song at his funeral. All those there that knew us knew the song was ours. It provided me the strength I needed. I just knew my husband could hear OUR song and i know he was pleased..

  • @caroline64249 Your message brought tears to my eyes. This song came out the year my husband & I were married. Its meant so much to us for so many years. We recently celebrated our 30th anniv. & I don't know how I could go on if something happened to him..how I could breathe..it takes my breath even now to think of it. Reading your post helped me to know that no matter what the future brings, God always provides the strength we need to make it through another day. Blessings to you!

  • I never tire hearing this! Seems like I've known it all my life. Just can't beat Stevie's voice!

  • 1 of the greatest songs of all time 1 of my favorites

  • OMG!!!! in tears right now! I luv the sound just like when I first heard it! Thanks!!!!

  • Great song. Written by Waylon Jennings. Love it

  • awsum song with 2 great legends of music!!

  • That's exactly how I heard this song when it came out. A friend recommended it, I bought the 45, then went home and played it on the record player & was in love with it & have been ever since. It's simple, it's the lovers' fairytale. kungpowicide, you're right; the best songs are the simplest & have an internal plot around the song with a meaning that transcends generations. Music today rarely does this anymore. Its as if they learned the music from peers then forgot the lyrics had deep meaning.

  • I applaud your presentation and I am so glad at the sound of the record. I really miss listening to them.

  • In 1981, Don Henley called up Stevie Nicks and said, "Hey, let's lay something down." She said, "I'd love to, but first I need to inject cocaine into my butthole."

  • @nagromskoorb And the rest, was history.

  • how can you not sing along to this when you hear it

  • Ahhh...the memories.

  • really love the clicks and pops

  • For Patrick...when I walked into your house, I never wanted to leave. You gave me a place to live when I was homeless and then you gave me your love. I love you! I am so happy to become your bride in December!!!

  • @18123times god realy blessed you congrats!

  • This is the cheesiest song of all time

  • @vaibanez17 Endless Love came out this same year.

  • this song makrs me cry

  • top 10 duets of all time... i mean come on... ppl need to give don henly much more credit- the eagles have sold the 4th most albums EVER... i mean him and glenn are like paul and john (of their time)

  • Yes this crazy illuminati music that is foisted on us is mind altering carbage. Yes even the music you listen to is controlled.

  • Awww take me back. Take me back to simpler times Stevies.....

  • awsome :D

  • Thanks for uploading this!

  • I love this song!!! I remember my mom and dad singing and dancing to this song!!

  • Great song from Mz Stevie Nicks once again

  • lol

  • Who gives you the right to just take a video of a 45 playing and not thought you've broke the copyrights for these recordings! If you have a house, someone should take it away from you!

  • @Kenszen Dude, this song has been on YT for over a year, it could have been blocked by the copyright holder by now if they wanted to. The UK government is planning to deregulate copying and sharing of music, this will seriously stuff iTunes, which is no bad thing.

  • I LOVE YOU, STEPHANIE NICKS. PLEASE MARRY ME.

  • ... sentiment <3

  • Stevie Nicks is the best alltime!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2 Singers that have been part of 2 of the greatest bands in history. You can't get much better than that.

  • just beautiful

  • Oh how I remeber the 45's....nothin like vinyl! I remember laying around and litstening to the record drop and then the few seconds of scratchy needle on vinyl and then sweet music like this. Wonder if vinyl will ever make a comeback? Unfortunately all my records melted during a move. They got all warped sitting in the back seat of my car in direct sunlight.

  • @MrNaturalhigh72 I still play my vinyl, but it's not going to come back before horses replace the car, miles of books replace the internet, or exorcism replaces modern medicine.

  • @216trixie LOL--I guess it was wishful thinking. Wish I still had my vinyl. You just can't replicate that sound.

  • @MrNaturalhigh72 You're right about the sound. After many years of listening to CDs and vinyl side by side, vinyl still sounds more natural, warm and "live".

  • stevie has a legacy that will be timeless....shes awesome

  • Great sound : )

  • Nice video! The magic of a 45!

  • @brahminy1 I so agree with you.

  • I was soooo listening to my fav rapper e40 jus now n i dont knw why but this song came to me so here i am! love this song!!!

  • I heard both Stevie Nicks and Don Henley are racists and support the Ku Klux Klan. Just Kidding!

  • OMG I want your turntable! I could trip out for days watching that spin.

  • very nice on 45 real sound...

  • Great song. Stevie Nicks has an awesome voice and she's really beautiful too. Don Henley's voices matches hers perfectly well.

  • Great song and great presentation, my friend....Thumbs up!!!!

  • @captainLstern agreed, excellent quality all around

  • From back then to now....She never lost her voice....Love that chick!

  • like if u notice him dancing in the backround

  • Classic....music when I was growing up was priceless and Stevie is one hard chick to hold a candle to..jmo

  • have you ever noticed, i mean really noticed, that the best songs, the most timeless songs, like this one, are the simplest? nothing overblown, nothing over produced, just a guitar, some background additives, and 2 badass vocalists.

  • @kungpowicide

Yup..who is gonna remember "Jenny from the Block" 20 years from now??

  • @kungpowicide true

  • @kungpowicide simple is genious sometimes

  • @kungpowicide like don't stop believen?

  • @kungpowicide thats what i always thought about with this song and Sister Golden Hair by America. the Guitar and vocals are perfect and thats all it needs

  • @MLP270SS i love that song too. i remember watching America on this late night TV sketch comedy show as a kid. think i'll go listen to it now since you brought it up, lol, thx

  • @kungpowicide

    so true! totally agree

  • I don't understand why this song doesnt have more views, its fantastic.

  • I love this song, hadnt heard this in sometime. I heard it being sung on the Voice last night and the two singers did a good job on it, but made me want to hear the original which is the best.

  • The crackle of vinyl turns me on. Then Stevie Nicks starts singing and I can't hide my erection.

  • 7 people who don't have lovers!!

  • @sim8213

I don't have one and I still love this song :)

  • Love this song and also the way you introduce it with the gramophone video cast. Enjoyed it. Thank you!!

  • This is my favorite song.

  • Anyone who tries to talk shit about Nicks does so out of pure spite and jealousy..

  • I picked up a record in the music stote, just to see if my son knew what it was. and I am happy to say he did. my kid rocks! he is 12, but another kid his age didn't.

  • Stevie and Don hit #6 in Billboard, 1-23-82. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • Finally I find the radio edit on Youtube! Thanks for posting. BTW, Stevie Nicks is a goddess. Piss on the naysayers.

  • I love this song! I love the vintage quality to the video as well.....good thinking! <3

  • makes me think of how much I love my woman

  • Stevie Nicks is a very talented singer, songwriter, musician and composer. I believe she wrote this song for Waylon Jennings and Jessie Colter but due to their stormy relationship she decided to keep it for herself and got Don Henley to duet (Do It) with her. Sorry about that, I just couldn't help myself. Another song of hers which is excellent but not well known, is Sleeping Angel, a showcase song.

  • magnifica , casi 30 años han pasado, me parece que fue ayer,

  • @cavegirl, about a million people would disagree with you. I can't believe someone would have something negative to say about Stevie Nicks voice. Stevie Nicks Rocks!!!

  • i revisit this song monthly

  • ANIOTHER FINE SONG,ONCE AGAIN STEVIE NICKS

  • @6245bear - WHAT IS ANIOTHER AND WHERE CAN I GET ONE?

  • @HEARTHEANGELSVOICES

It's a typo. You can find them all over You Tube, or the internet in general for that matter.

  • @z3r0t0l3r4ns - YEAH - I KNOW. JUST F. - IN WITH YOU!

  • I love this song. I wish someone besides Stevie Nicks sang it. She has the deadest voice I have ever heard from a "professional".

  • @cavegirl99 Stevie Nicks has a very distinct and memorable sound, and Dreams/Gypsy/Sara/Landslide wouldn't be what we know without her. That said, check out Tori Amos' version of Landslide... AMAZING.

  • @cavegirl99 If you think that about Stevie Nicks you are tone deaf. She has an incredible control of vocal tones that has not been heard in years. If you just don't like her music, that is one thing and perfectly your right to disagree with. But to denigrate her talent is just plain ignorance of musicality.

  • @cavegirl99 Clearly you are tone deaf. Ask any working professional in the business and they will tell you that Stevie is one of the greatest song writers/vocalists that ever lived. She sings 'in between the notes' and what you may be calling dead, I would call effortless. When she sings it's almost as if she's just speaking -- the harmonies just pour through easily. Listen to 'Storms' by Fleetwood Mac and you'll see what I mean, it's my favorite Stevie song.

  • amazing i love stevie nicks what a voice, with me every where i go stevie .......

  • Que bella cancion....

  • Absolutely LOVE this track ... Stevie is Awsome !

  • thank you for the original record sound. it makes it so much like the first time I heard it.

  • this song transports me back to my childhood. hearing it now that im an adult makes it so beautiful. to understand and feel the lyrics now, but to be brought back to a time of sheer innocence. this is so beautiful and ethereal to me. when life gets hard, i listen to this song. it makes me feel so young again.

  • @CandiceFoSho i know exactly how you feel......nice to know others feel how we do.

  • VTMAN is my leather and I am his lace!!! From BabyDoll!!! <3

  • i like adam and that country girl singing it adam looks so fn cute!

  • This song and the duet who sings it has to be, by far the best!! plt

  • I cant believe olivias newtons physical beat this on the billboard...

  • Always a favorite!!!
