you can use T10 instead of T12. it works fine. and T8 for the smaller screws.

Thanks dude. I'm not sure if this will fix my problem, but just taking it apart, cleaning it out, and putting it back together makes me feel like a genius. Hopefully all the built up dust is what was making it overheat. If it does fix my problem, I'll reply!

For anyone else wanting to open their XBOX 360, a T-12 Torx driver doesn't exist, you need a T-10...you can find them at Lowe's.
