I disagree with the music part and image part. Rihanna's 1st album was ALL REGGAE and some urban hip hop (her image was of her island roots). Ever heard the song That La La La? Her 2nd album had a mixture of pop and reggae. Final Goodbye, SOS, We Ride, Kisses Don't Lie. Their music has always been worlds apart. Her image seemed like they were trying to make her fit in. Why they are being compared--Even I don't know. But this is what Beyonce stans want.

I mean, she was nothing like her in her musical style vocal talent etc.. it is clear that Rihanna has her own distinct style which no one else seems to have. I disagree with the music part and image part. Rihanna's 1st album was ALL REGGAE and some urban hip hop (her image was of her island roots). Ever heard the song That La La La? Her 2nd album had a mixture of pop and reggae. Final Goodbye, SOS, We Ride, Kisses Don't Lie. Their music has always been worlds apart. Her image seemed like they were trying to make her fit in. Why they are being compared--Even I don't know. But this is what Beyonce stans want.

Rihanna sings Pop, Pop-Rock, Rock, Reggae, R&B and collaborates with artists of many different genres. B' just sticks to the same old R&B which I love, but i turn to Ri' for a more diverse stock of music!
I still love them both the same even though Ri' does fulfill more needs.

I don't know why in the beginning of her career people were saying that Rihanna copied Beyonce. I mean, she was nothing like her in her musical style vocal talent etc.. it is clear that Rihanna has her own distinct style which no one else seems to have. Rihanna may have a limited vocal range, but she will always be marketable due to her ability 10 use it well.
Rihanna has never been blocked by Beyonce on the charts. Only Mariah Carey has done so when We Belong Together kept Pon de Replay at #2.

Oh...Rihanna and Beyonce are on the same plane to me. But, Rihanna's first single in her whole career was a big success. Don't get me wrong Beyonce's first solo single, "Work it Out" flopped, but Her follow up, "Crazy in Love", was a big hit also. Although Beyonce was the founder and the one behind Destiny's child, their first single was a flop as well until its remix was released.

you do realize that Jay-Z doesn't care if Rihanna outsells or begins to outshine Beyonce because Rihanna is the one who is making him money. Beyonce is not on his record label. I buy both of their music. Think of it this way. If people don't like Rihanna & loves Beyonce, these fuels of videos will encourage them to waste their money buying multiple copies of one of Beyonce's albums just to help her outsell Rihanna and vice versa. Anyway...I buy all their album editions so...I love both artists

So I think that people should move on. Neither of them hate the other because they have both said so numerous times in interviews and always say how much they love each other's music.

I don't think there's a comparison. Rihanna is strictly a Pop singer. And it's not as hard for a 'pop' singer to get number one hits..the majority of young America listens to pop music. Beyonce is strictly RnB, yet she has made as many #1 Hot 100 hits on Billboard as Rihanna. I do like Rihanna's personality and style. More free and down to earth. But Beyonce seems to interview well.Beyonce has a great voice, a fact. Rihann's voice is made for pop music,not great but she's found her niche.

I believe Kelly and Michelle needed Beyonce. they were sort of backup singer if you as. just look at the PCDs perform when I grow up. only Nicole sings as the lead. Every sing has to start some where because they needed vocal experience and that's what Beyonce has. and Rihanna is only now getting that. in a couple of years she should be able to sing way better than she is now.
