  • Please clone a British Ron Paul so we have a peoples leader here in UK

  • RON PAUL 2012!!!

WE NEED TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN

  • if ron pual doesnt become pres

i say we elect him as pres of the republic of texas

  • Ron Paul is voting for Debra Medena to be Texas Governor in 2010. Are you?

  • I'm reading his new book right now. He's absolutely right. The government is trying to chew more than they can swallow with how they're trying to govern the people. Too many issues, problems, debts, and not enough resources to solve or pay them, and ultimately it will be the people who pay. They want to privatize the profits, and socialize the losses.

  • that's the idea this is what " demoracy" is when few run a counry on deception n lies THE MONEY MASTERS Very informative haven't u ever wondered AL countries but few OWE to who? few bankers who produce FA? who owns IMF WORLD BANK FED? how can the whole world owe so much to so few who produce FA, JUST think daylight robbery FA else

  • @polygamous1 Democracy has been a spectacular failure in the US. It has fostered a war machine and a corrupt economic and political system.

  • ron paul you are such a smooth talker :D

  • I like the way Dr, Paul has a rational, unsentimental thought process. It's always sad when someone of integrity (whether you agree with them or not) dies, but in reality the policies that are best for the counttry's long term well being are what is important, not the leaders. I tend to save my heartfelt grief for people I know personally and my family. Actually our congressional leaders should not become rock stars, that is not the purpose of governance.

  • I hated Bush policies but I never wished he died.

  • I have just recently begun to learn about this man...Ron Paul. He is amazing...he is a hero to consitution.

  • He is an intellingent, realist and honest man. Constitution is a piece o paper, freedom is real, and no law or constitution will guarantee you nothing without your action.

Libertarianism is nothing more than an accurate, cynical description of reality, from the only possible existing point of view. The individual one. Without docrines or ideologies. Phisical and mental human reality, nothing less, nothing more.

  • @boat6868

That is sad is that so many Republicans and limited-government-minded people don't know much about Paul. I only recently learned about him too about 6 months ago and he is great. If you haven't seen Peter Schiff, look him up too.

  • A peaceful secession in no way makes your state an enemy of the Union. I don't know how you derived that logic, given what the Union is and what it stands for. Our Union isn't like a street gang. It's a civilized grouping. There isn't any 'once you're in, the only way out is through death'.

Anyways, the Civil War wasn't truly about, or started due to, slavery. It was really over states rights.

Also, when did Ron Paul state that he wanted Texas to secede?

  • Gee you piece of shit. The purpose of the Constitution is to limit the power the federal government has over states. Yes, the Constitution is the law of the land, please remind me where I said it was not. However, the "Law of the Land" mandates such things as the state of Georgia can't take ole Leroy out of his house and make him pick cotton. What many politicians forget is they are supposed to do no more and no less what the Constitution allows them to do.

  • Universal Healthcare...

    WWJD?

  • I really think "Mouthstradamus" is actually the other disinfo-blogger named "Ronpaulhatesblacks" hes using the EXACT same tactics, just changed the accusation from racism to somehow....being unpatriotic???

  • Mouthstradamus

"John McCain is a true patriot"

You consider Mccain more of a PATRIOT than Ron Paul? nothing else needs to be said...you are hopelessly lost...

  • John Mccain is a war mongering nut job.

Rob paul is the closest thing to a TRUE patriot this country has seen in decades

  • Our nation was founded on dissent and a succession from the British government. A true patriot will dissent from centralization of power.

  • You are wrong.

Our nation was founded on rugged Individualism, freedom and liberty. Were it not for the Feds some minority groups would still be slaves in some States...

There will always be centralisation of power, some power have to be delegated to the States,Counties and Cities. Your mayor or Governor has no power to command the army to go to war, the president can.

Argue that there are checks and balances to curtail the powers of the Feds,States and Counties.

  • Rugged individualism, freedom and liberty were the concepts our nation's founders believed in. Succession from the British government were the means by which they achieved their goals.

Actually, states rights was the reason many didn't follow the fugitive slave act. States like Wisconsin, Ohio and others didn't follow the fugitive slave act because of the principle of nullification in the KY resolutions in 1798. It said the lives of many minorities under slavery.

  • The crap I just read compelled me to respond. First of all, you have absolutely NO proof whatsoever that slavery would still exist today if not for the Federal gov't. Secondly; and most importantly, dear, you have that sentence messed up. There is a centralization of government because the cities, counties, and states allow it. The federal government is SUPPOSED to answer to us, not the other way around. Read the Constitution.

  • And by the way, the governor has the power to call up/command that state's militia... same kind of militia that beat the greatest army in the world in 1783? U.S. History starting to refresh a little?

  • Comment removed

  • Slavery would have destroyed itself not only due to the morality of the issue, but also due to economical reasons. The federal government only helped speed that process by way of encroaching on states rights.

Due to the free market, slavery eventually would have destroyed itself. Why? In the end, it would have been realized that it's cheaper to pay the 'slaves' and turn them into employees rather than keep them as 'property' and feed, clothe, house, and maintain them.

  • I think that education and moral awareness would have abolished slavery. The civil war took advantage of the fact of slavery, because it was an easy thing to use as an excuse to expand the power of the state. Really, the whole thing was useless. Although it did immediately end slavery of some people, it increased the governments ability to eventually make EVERYONE slaves.

  • You needed no Education to know that...slave holders were Christians and that is againist the Christian teachings.

Slavery was a ashame. The Federal govt had to use force againist this people with rigid minds who would not listen to a word of mouth.

Can you imagine some states would not allow ablack man who served in the Army during WW2 and Vietnam. At the same time white Immigrant would nuturalise in those States and be able to vote...in the 60's. those States had to be stopped.

  • everything you say is true! The states did have to be stopped. People become indoctrinated in their beliefs, and accept things that we know to be evil, as acceptable. The problem that is so sad to me, is that the Fed exploited the suffering of slaves to push their own agenda. It should have been an individual revolution against the sicko slavers. The Fed wanted the states to remain part of the State, which was the purpose of the civil war, anti-slavery was to gain approval.

  • It's true time and technology will have ousted slavery in one way or another, but the irony and hypocrisy is the decoration of independence and what we fought for- Freedom. At a time when William Wilberforce fought against slavery in England and helped Abolish slavery 'We' who claimed lived in the land of the free kept slaves.

The first free batch of freed Slaves lived in England 100 years before emancipation in USA

Slavery was evil and had to be stopped in regardless of its gains.

  • Exactly! We have to start realizing the fact that the government has been given permission to manage the economy, education, security and intelligence, energy, food. As things get worse I think more and more people will realize this and that our own negligence and ignorance got us here, today in this circumstance. We need to start paying more attention to what our elected representatives and see what the unelected bureaucratic ones are up to as well.

  • ron paul rules

  • "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." -Thomas Jefferson

  • Keynesian economics is built on lies and idealism. Throughout history, many govts have tried to inflate the money supply, and every one of them ended because of loose monetary policy. True economics is Austrian Economics, based on simple supply and demand.

The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.

    -Thomas Jefferson

  • You are missing the point bird brain. The idea of Secession says the Federal govt better stop taxing and spending with special interest bailout packages or else states will run themselves. Do you not want a leash on the inept rulership of the Fed govt? What are you a Nazi? The founding fathers were almost completely anti-federal govt and Texas has proven why. People can't be expected to solve other people's problems, esp in other places of no consequence to them.

    Fed Govt = Mass Corruption.

  • For how long has the Fed govt existed? Ever since the nation was founded...

Have you ever been in any economics of govt class. Ever heard of Keynesian theory? or Demand side economics ?

Some of you talk negatively of bail out programs yet you dont how it has saved our economy from going down below recovery.

  • Bailout = FAKE Credit. You can't be prosperous by pulling money out of thin air. You have to earn it first, then save it. The only way to financial success is to live within your means and don't devalue the currency, which is exactly what inflation and the federal reserve does. That is why our dollar has been only becoming more worthless every day since 1913 as problems repeat forever. The fed solves a temporary problem, by piling up the trouble for the next generation. It's a CRIME.

  • the federal government existed, but was created under a voluntary union of states. since the states entered a union voluntarily, doesnt it make sense that they can leave, or secede, voluntarily? i think the founding fathers would agree since the american revolution was secessionist in a sense.

  • im not saying states need to secede, i just think its always been an american principle that we forgot about and bashed around.

  • Don't be a simpleton. The USA was created by secession from England. The idea of limited local govts and limits on Federal govt is as American a principle can be. Read your history before you try to shoot gloriously righteous men down and replace with the lowest, ass-sucking media tool on Earth.

  • Mouthstradamus,

Ron Paul was THE biggest republican critic of George Bush. Please, at least do a quick google search before you make comments condemning someone wrongfully...there are more deserving fish to slander than this guy believe me...

  • Mouthstradamus,

You are ignorant and know not what you speak of, please do some research

  • You are aware that Mr. Kennedy served in the Senate and Dr. Paul serves in the House of Representatives?

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe a child has been left behind.

  • the truest man in polics right there. ron paul i wont vote unless u run or another libertarian

  • I love how Ron Paul turned the question from a "praise Kennedy" question to a "see what is happening how that he's dead" answer. Very wise move.

Don't make decisions based on emotionalism. THINK THINGS THROUGH PEOPLE.

  • Better options to improve healthcare are:

    1) Allow ppl buy insurance across state lines

    2) Tax benefits for doctors serving the needy

    3) Stop insurance comps to lobby Congress

    4) Reduce war spending and use the money here on HC

    5) Remove junk state mandated premiums (like pregnancy check for a 75 year old woman)

  • Govt. managed HC plan in Britain led expansion of their system such that it is now the 3rd largest employer (after Chinese army and Indian Railways). Any talk about change to remove inefficiencies leads to talks about loss of livelihood/jobs. We DONT want to link quality of HC with loss of livelihood. U cannot provide the best since that may involve removing off inefficient departments. A double whammy! Thats downright immoral.

  • The number of innovations and breakthroughs that has come from market controlled health-care far outweighs than that has come state-controlled ones. The govt. controlled health-care programs always end up squeezing the private programs by having them deficit-financed/subsidized in the first few years and thus kill all competition. The best example is that of the govt.-managed British health-care system.

  • Obama clearly mentioned that he either will introduce new taxes or get the money from other avenues for any universal plan. Americans pay enough in taxes, how an added tax can help?

The govt. managed programs like Medicare, etc have proven to be financially not sustainable. Given this and the track-record of govt. performance of managing health-care for the last 40+ years, how can the govt. role be promoted to handle health-care for all Americans?

  • its hard to belive but true

why put it in the goverments hands when facts and time show it fails.

  • I'm getting closer and closer to not reading or listening to anymore of this back and forth. I'm actually looking forward to the end of all this. Its happened to all the great powers in the world since the beginning of time. No seems to be listening to reason from the people that can assist in this massacre that's slowly taking over our country. How sad.

  • I think his veiws are finally he is getting the support of popular conservative radio hosts.

  • this is local fox news in houston tx thats why they are leting him talk

  • Oh boy EVERYBODY is having him on the news now! I guess they didn't want him on during his candidacy to spread good and truthful influence to the ones behind the television. Now that a fool is in office making American citizens angry, so may they be angrier with government as they watch and listen and believe Ron Paul's words and compare it to the corrupt reality that is the government which comprises of a mass of puppets for a lack of better terms, and more importantly, the Federal Reserve.

  • Here's my prediction.....we will all be under complete TYRANNY in about 2-3 years!

  • Ron Paul has the amazing ability backed with experience to know what will happen. This should be archived by all who watch it and mark his words.

  • I dont want to hear any more from somene who backs Texas confederacy after Bush ruining the economy and he didnt talk of of it for 8 years. 3 months after obama inauguration this fool started to talk of confederacy- something that will completely destroy the United States.

Im not a supporter on govt run healthcare but Power hungry and confederacy talks make me preffer Obama than this unpatriotic Southerner.

Tell him to go ahead and seccede-he should speak Texans and not Americans.

  • Finally someone said it on a major news network, unemployment rate 20%.

  • Paul/Schiff 2012!!!

  • How the hell is ron paul getting on fox news lately???

They didn't want to know him during the elcetion.

  • Local Broadcast I suppose

  • great interview!!!

  • Iam amused by people that are in government and say how bad it is.If government is defective then so are you.lol

  • This is the way all interviews should go, imho. I believe this man is one of, if not the only honest politicians left. His positions haven't changed in over 30 years.

  • Ted Kenndy said that he received one million Amnesty votes overnite from the American people which was a lie, so send the Fraud senator ashes to Mexico!

  • we should all listen to Dr Paul

  • The thing about RP is that you can disagree with him, yet know that hes respectable enough to at least appreciate. Hes honest, like no other politician minus a few. (Kucinich etc)

RP needs to be in office not just because of his political views, but because simply, hes not full of shit. Hes real, and sincere, and willing to weigh all sides in a debate before coming to a conclusion.

  • Ron Paul is a true patriot.

  • Why can't all interviews be this civil and informative?

Is that too much to ask?

  • You're right, this interview was really good compared to how they usually treat Ron Paul. I think that they need him for the rating, I hear that Alex Jones get higher ratings.

  • Ron Paul say what we think.Peace

  • He never met any of the Kennedys?? How long has he been in Congress? HHMM still like Ron Paul - best Congressman for personal liberty. He just doesn't know how to raise his voice - sad.

  • he "speaks softly and carries a big stick"

  • ya I would like to see more of the BIG STICK please - we need that now more than ever.

  • Ron Paul spot-on as per usual. way to tell the truth Ron.

  • RP says he never met a Kennedy, but I remember him telling a group of people that he met JFK days before he was assassinated. Maybe he hasn't met a Kennedy in a professional sense or did RP just forget?

  • Point me to where I can find him saying that he met JFK the day before he was assassinated. I'd like to see this.

  • Ted was probably deeply scared after both of his brothers was assassinated. Jack and Bobby was trying to dismantle the FBI and government expansion and so they were assassinated. Ted was probably too scared when running against Carter, so he backed off. You couldn't really blame Ted really after both of his brothers was killed.

  • would his brothers have backed off if they were in his shoes? i doubt. it's not very logical to think that they never received death threats prior to an assassination was carried out. a threat is always much easier for the schemers than an actual operation.. and obviously they never backed off, not even after one of the brothers was assassinated. nah, every person is a different individual, it doesn't matter if you just happen to carry the same last name.

  • Still says 303 views... weird

  • viewcount is updated every few hours

  • funny it still says 303 views and there had to have been more since the comment 2 places down saw this 4 hrs ago and it had 303 then

  • Ron Paul is what America needs!

  • Good video 303 views

God Bless Ron Paul for supporting sound money.

  • If the Bush family liked Kennedy that just shows how evil he was.

  • Finally the Jack Ass can burn in hell for murdering Mary Jo Kopechne 40 years ago!

A Murder the government & the Catholic Church supported so he could divorce is wife of 40 years

HE also got kicked out of Harvard..for cheating!

When the Kennedy's finally moved out of Palm Beach, Florida, the crime rate dropped 34%!

Americans have the Government they deserve!

  • Haha amazing. I used to live in Palm Beach. Anyway, this video was very refreshing from all the repeat RP2012 videos that tend to come up that, although important because of liberty, tend to become boring (a tendency of which is probably a good thing, because of it becoming so ingrained). Emotionalism is something I hadn't heard about in awhile, which is quite fascinating, since it is a concept that can accomplish so much evil (thus, people need to checc themselves).

  • They treated him very well.

  • Thank you once again Dr. Paul for spreading the truth.

  • thanks Ron for waking up the sheep

  • Great interview!!

  • Thanks for posting!
