Great Video with Ralph McTell. I like Ralph McTell's voice. He does this song the best in my opinion. I love London have been many many times since my first visit in June of 1970. I had just turned 18 years old when I took that trip. Thank you London and Londoners for wonderful memories.

@shirlie34 Sorry but you are wrong Mctell wrote this in 1974 after visiting Paris and witnessing poverty on the streets there, to avoid offending the French he composed this song about London streets and the characters on them.

It reached #2 in 1974 and was rumoured to be selling almost 100,000 copies per day at one point.
