Things will work out, they always do. Change is good, helps you grow, bet you'll come back west some day though. I lived in the south for a few years because of my job and I really liked it but was happy to come back west. It was well worth my time there.
I know you'll really be glad to get school over with.
It has to be a wild change from the west coast to the south, but I think if it were me it would be the geography that freaked me more than the people. Anyway, like snark says, people in Virginia and the south in general always seem nicewhen I travel...then again I am in NY so almost everybody seems nice by comparison LOL.

being an all-East Coast gal myself,if I imagine suddenly moving to New Mexico, I can imagine how much you must feel like you are on Mars over here on this coast. You have the luck, though, people in Virginia are NICE - at least that's been my experience here and there.

Maybe I can do a "cribs" style tour of my place? That would be neat. I should probably put away the folding chairs and tv trays for that one. :)
