hey man, question: did you use the RC booster and BB booster together, and is this the dirty channel with those boosted. This is seriously the best tone I've heard come out of this amp besides andy timmons. excellent stuff man
hey man! Great demo...just wondered..I'm thinking about getting a S3 and wanted to ask if the single coils are noiseless at all? Those are JST FL right?
Also, Does the tremolo work without detuning your guitar?
Extremely heavy Andy Timmons influence in both the tone and playing - it's so perfectly matched it just couldn't possibly be a coincidence. Beautiful stuff.
I like your playing Shogun777 as much as I like your tone and taste in amps, and let me tell you I'm hard to please. Look forward to watching more of your vids. Are you a pro player? I assume so.
God Bless the Mesa Boogie Lone Star Special! And may I get one very soon. Thanks again for these excellent demos I'll take your advice ion tone any day.
I can't bring myself to part with any guitars to fund the purchase of a suhr... but I want one so bad it's ridiculous! Grea tone and they play fantastically. Great video, I've come back to it a number of times for reference...
It sounds good for some stuffs but I think perfection doesn't exist on earth. I'm looking for an amp featuring a clean fenderish channel, a crunch brit channel and a lead brit channel. I'd like two master controls (rhythm and lead) plus a midi control and a reverb control for each channel. Not found yet.
is a mic setup or are did you just record this with video? because it sounds amazing. im really trying to get andy's tone, ever since i heard his new tone on the resolution cd i was amazed
Dude, your sound is phenomenal. Love the LS Special with your Suhr. Are you using the BB at all in this video? You have this really cool vintage vide going. I've played a LS Special but almost think it is your Suhr as well... ;-) Nice job man. Peace, -G
@gottfriedbrux no it's not the bb preamp i have this guitar it's the sound of the guitar it's unbelievable ...u have to hear in person to believe the tone
mate, honestly, that's some of the best tone i've heard!! i own a lonestar and haven't been able to get that quality. i play a jem though. you've gotta tell me your lonestar and rc and bb settings!! PLEASE!?!?!?

The settings on the RC Booster are, IMHO, crucial to achieving this tone. Could you post them (and amp settings as well) here? No offense to you or pricey Suhr and Boogie gear, but with my RC Booster, a Yamaha DG Stomp premap going into an 18 Watt Atomic Reactor, I can get an almost identical tone and as much dynamic control when playing my Schecter strat.
@thatkai HAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA Can You really? Cause I guarantee you can't. I'd love to hear your tone mic'd up and put up on a filesharing site so it isn't susceptible to the compression that oes on in Ebay. We'll talk after that.
@thatkai Maybe I'm just pretentious, but I would never brag about my tone sounding like a YouTube video! :) Also, as a person who owns a couple really nice guitars, it's more than just the way it sounds. It's the way it feels, resonates, stays in tune, etc.
Glad you dig the G-System... That'd be great! I'd be really interested to see/hear that ... Drop me a message to let me know and I'll definitely stop by :).
Andy Timmons would approve.

Why did you go with S3 over S5?

@flowerdrop1 S5 just has a Floyd Rose style trem and maple fret board.
I would pick s3 or S4.

do you know what cap you're using? i want to install a cap on my guitar, and if its what suhr used on their guitar, then its a real deal!

as great as the suhr sounds, i dont think timmons has to worry about his tone much; its pretty freakin huge already!
