the mistake alot of people made this day was to create quite a bit of length (with either ball or release or both) I don't like to doubt the decisions of the pros but this was a mistake. when bowling on tough lane conditions the key is to stay up the back of it throw it kind of hard (keep the ball on line) and use stronger (arcing) balls and drill them weak to give you alot of control. this is just how i feel
