  • ooh im from hounslow, taken that roundabout many a time!

  • Awesome video....thanks :D

  • i hate driver misleading signal on roundabout

  • really good video. i'm not from India, but I learned a lot from it. Thank you!

  • :)

  • It has excellent content, Since i am the bose of one of the driver training instiute of state govt. owned in south india which is 30 years old.I found the materal content is simple with clarity.

  • nice ...

but remember people... the advantage has the car in the outer (1st) lane...

so if you' re going from a second (middle) lane out of roundabout and other car in the first lane stays in roundabout and crashes into you...it's your fault not his.

this is only the case when there are no arrows on the road which lane is for which exit..and most of roundabouts doesn't have arrows.

    sorry for bad english

  • Please suggest if this is applicable in nsw Australia ... Thankyou!

  • thnk you soooo much....lovely video

  • very good video, i keep on messing up at multi roundabouts, even tho i have just past my driving test. this video has helped thanks...

  • I hate major roundabouts, the easiest way to fail a driving test is poor lane discipline

  • excellent! Rule 3 (indicating at roundabouts) was just what I was struggling with and I now have a clear picture as to what I need to do. Thank you and very well done.

  • Thanks for this, it really helped :)

  • Many thanks for this video its very helpful i was looking for it.

  • why just for Indians ?? ... this can be of help to anyone who can speak ENGLISH and live in the United Kingdom !!! thank you

  • You are a hero man , this is what l needed to learn thx :)

  • very helpful, thanks

  • great video, it really helped me thanks

  • Perfect, just the kind of instructional video I was looking for.

  • thanks for posting this video , very helpfull

  • this is brilliant, thanks a bunch

  • just did a 2 lane round about in my driving lesson today, thank christ there was nobody on it xD

this is good to help me remember as instructor speaks quick :P

  • Doesn't anyone use their idicators anymore?

  • @srapshooter Yes, they do. Unfortunately, there are many idiots on the roads these days who don't. I wouldn't be surprised if half the drivers that got their licences before the turn of the century would pass the current test just because they are "too cool" to use the basic rules such as the ones in this film.

To be honest, I'd probably be one of the fails... ;)

  • Very useful thanks

  • I'm not Indian but this video was quite helpful. Thank's.

  • i had roundabout as soon as i get there i start to panick..........:(

  • This is a very good teaching. My road test is next week March 22, 2011. Thanks for this video.

  • i like dis vid is really helpful

  • Ohhh really helpful, thanks alot as I have my practical test after two weeks and I am so worried about my roundabouts cos I am bad at choosing the right lane.

  • Great video. Seriously good for those who find roundabouts tricky. (I should know!) I'm gonna be returning to this video LOTS of times :)

  • i failed today .. on a roundabout. all i can say is there are some loonatics you have to be careful about and take ur time

  • very clear, do no t understand y some instructor dont xplain this.

  • This video is fantastic.

    It helped me so much

  • Very instructive...helped me passed my test today :)

  • I HATE ROUNDABOUTS :(

  • This is really useful and I really learnet a lot by watching this clip, animation parts are excellant...thanks a lot....

  • A very simplistic way to learn.Thank you I am getting to understand roundabout better.

  • a very simplistic way to learn about roundabouts, although it's for indians it is also applicable to UK... One needs to be careful for roundabouts that have traffic lights...

  • good virdeo thanks,,, alot,,,,,, i have test tomorrow

  • Very nice of you to do this. It was really helpful.Thanx. I passed my driving test this morning and im over the moon. Was my fist attempt as well so I feel fabulous. My driving examiner was a really lovely friendly guy, made me feel really comfortable. It makes all the difference when they are nice. For anyone Who has failed, just relax take your time on your lessons and neva give up. You gotta have faith, u can do it

  • Great thanx

  • Great tutoring on roundabouts

  • Good video, excellent information for those who want to learn about roundabouts.

Why is this just for india? As certainly people in UK can benefit tooas well as other countries.

  • My apologies. When I started filming it was with an idea of making the videos available on a DVD in India, hence the misleading title. I agree with you and some others who share the sentiment that any one irrespective of their background could find the content useful. Cheers.

  • @mrsparky786 No, misleading information for turning right on 3 lane roundabout!!! If you willing to turn right and there are 3 lanes on approach you need to use RIGHT lane!!! You should not use a middle one! 1 lane is to turn left 1st exit and to go straight second exit, 2nd lane is to go only straight (you can't turn right!), 3rd lane is to go straight and turn right (third exit). Michal Zielinski Approved Driving Instructor

  • Great stuff, but why is this for Indians and not for everyone?

  • that helped! thanks

  • I am terrible at roundabouts i cant judge them then get nervous and annoyed with myself when instructor moans :(

  • This helped ease my fears. thanks

  • why just for indians? good video thanks

  • this is what i've been looking for

  • execellent.

  • the roundbaout at 0:34 shouldnt there be two lanes when u approach this roundabout, right lane and left lane, left lane for first and second exit(such as going left or right ahead) and second lane for taking 3rd exit(going right) or 4th exit (making U-turn).. or is it that only some of the roundbouts have 2 lanes approaching to it.

  • @kawaietbelle

Yes, roundabouts may have just one lane rather than 2 approaching it

  • "Especially The Rule Of Yielding To All Traffic From The Right...Even If It's A Bicycle" HAHAHA Great Video Mate Thanks. Got my Test In 2 Weeks. :-)

  • Best explanation i have heard thanks !

  • This helped me and im not indian! shocking...

  • Wow Amazing!!!!

  • Im an indian, this is exactly the video i was searching for....great explanation...

  • lane discipline is WITAL on multilane rounabouts LOL

  • Very good explanation.

  • driving training for just indians?

good video on the whole though!

  • Turning right on a multi lane roundabout is a little tricky as you have to cross two or more lanes before exiting, would be simpler to have a max of two lanes on roundabouts, less confusing.

  • @antonjon1

    Agreed

  • cool expla.... mate keep it up ...

  • simply excellent!!

  • great expeanation, but multilaned roundabouts seem complicated to deal with.

  • Adhirajjoglekar, This is a great explanation (both visually and verbally) of what i find to be the most complicated part of mastering the road. As meadowsirl said, this is a great lesson for all, not just Indians. I think finishing the lesson by showing clips of actual traffic on roundabouts is a very helpful touch. regards Gaz323.

  • EXCELLENT EXPLANATION

  • thanks! Best explanation to date, saved it to my favories.

  • multi lane roundabouts seem unnecessarily complicated.

  • seriously.... its so confusing.. i have my test tomorrow... with the lovely weather of london... HEAVY SNOW. all this week its been lovely... why 2mrw??! ikh. english weather so unpredictable.

  • This is a great help! thanks

  • why for Indians, this is a great resource for all?

  • true.

  • thank you i had troble with this on my mobed test

  • thx

  • In the U.S., for example, traffic drives on the right side of the road, and roundabout traffic goes counterclockwise.

  • U are a star, Gr8 help.....

  • thnaks thanks thanks! u are a supper star u helpmed me alot. i passed my test 2 days ago.

  • 5 stars for excellence.

    Great instruction, adhirajjoglekar.

  • i hope this video helps me to pass on thursday

  • easy instructions thnxx

  • Extremely helpful and crystal clear even better than my bloody instructor.

  • lol

  • This is excellent. I'm not even Indian and I have found perhaps the best explanation of roundabouts so far. Got my test tomorrow so hopefully this should make things clearer.

By the way the Blackhorse pub featured in this video make amazing Chilli Chicken,.

  • Roundabouts are much better than stoplight intersections since you don't waste as much time sitting and waiting for lights to change. We have one sort of like a roundabout called Park Circle here in N. Charleston, SC.

  • its not fair, why is it lessons for indians? i dont get it, im an african and ive benefited from it. i think it should just say driving lessons full stop, why add for indians???lol

anyway as im from east africa im very familiar with indians....so shukria.

  • my god that was amazing

  • Wish I had such driving video during my driving days in India

  • this is very funnyyyyy :)

    good video tho :D

i will tell my friend to watch it as he is learning to drive and doesnt know english rule regulations properly as he is fresh from India :)

  • I must salute you man! Great stuff! Once we do small things like this one, will create a civic sense, road sense in the subcontinent. Cheers!

  • You're right it does work... in London but not India LOL

  • Developing driving safety is awareness to courtesy... roundabouts demands a great deal of discipline following basic traffic rules and yielding to others
