What did I think of the end of this movie?

I thought it SUCKED!

This movie had lots of problems, but the best fight scenes to date. NO CGI!!!

The stunt guys really beat the crap out of each other. It was a pride thing for realism.

The only thing I didn't like about this movie is the forest battle in the beginning, when he is taken. To think that an american military captain could stand up against 5 or 6 samurai with a flagpole, haha it's a little too, "america is best" for me. Anyone who agrees?

@forzachelsea It was maybe a bad attempt to show how the honor of the man fighting against impossible odds and not giving up. To the asian society honor is more important than life. It's a kung fu fan thing. You get it or you don't I guess.

this was one of the first movies with Tom Cruise I ever watched, and I was fascinated by it and byhim too. In my opinion he does his job well. I know there are many people who dislike him, but I could never imagine another actor in this movie than him, because I think it was the right role for him and nobody could have done it better! Fantastic.

Totally agree with you. Tom Cruise is more or less good looking, but whenever I watch a movie with him, I just see Tom Cruise acting, I never see the character he plays but always him. Don't know how to express ... but when Sean Connery played King Arthur, I just saw King Arthur and nothing of Sean Connery, because he was really good. But Tom Cruise is alway Tom Cruise acting ... and that disturbs every film, including this one.

well...i think that's because tom cruise is so popular, as in the real world of him not specifically in him as a movie character, that the image him has deeply impressed in everyone's mind. That's just my personal opinion. I coincidentally have that kind of feeling towards nicole kidman, too.

ken watanabe was very good in this movie. Actually I really like the movie but Tom Cruise is so...disturbing. He has a 'used' face imo. And I dont thinkk that he is a good actor, he is not capable of such huge parts.

I would watch the movie way more often but I cant stand Tom Cruise...

This movie has the best combat footage ever filmed. All were martial arts experts and all of the combat scenes contain full contact fighting.

There is not one glancing blow or pulled punch. As far as Tom Cruise, he's a tool. When his Nazi movie comes out I will edit a funny trailer and make him look stupid-er. LOL
