@fighter1773 I am 5"7 and 125 pounds and have trouble touching at times. You are b/w the 85s and this. If you have the skill i say go for it. I was about 5"4 when i got mine. You could always lower the back shock if you cant touch. That would change handeling though.

@lightitupjimbob I have the same bike...I like the power but i would get a 2010 or 2011 if you can...The throttle response isnt very good...especialy in the winter but that can be fixed fairly easily. They have improved a lot with the 2011s.. If you dont want to spend the money the 2009 is great. I have had no problems with mine besides the vavles needing adjusted..thats a given.

Yo, not realy, I talked to my dealer & he said that it was the same bike but in the black trim with the green hubs... It looks real good, but hase no real upgrade from the green bike and I think that it's a bit of an overkill for the price difference. But still, a great bike!

Hey happy, sure.. depending on how confident you got on you'r crf230, you'll find the 09 250f has alot more punch! It's a real great bike and runs realy well. You should love it!

um kuwaiy 15, i don't think it would be the best idea for this to be your first bike, but thats my opinion. it has a manual clutch, fast motor, and to much of a bike for your very first bike. get like a ttr125 or something like that. im sure some people get it for their first bike though.

Well Kuwaity, It realy depends on you! If you think you can take-it slow go for it, but if you want to go full throtel firt year, go for à kx100... it's easer to lurn on a smaller bike, plus you can always sell it in 2 years! Good luck!

yeah alexovie  is right this years 250fs all match up really good with each other so it really wouldn't matter which one you buy, ive ridden them both and the only difference could find was the sick ass dual exhaust on the honda soif you like the green and black go with the kawi and if you like red and white go with the honda its really that simple for 09
