  • Muito massa, sem dúvidas que chris sharma é o melhor do mundo, sem chance.

    abraço.

  • why do people have to bring that stupid childish bullshit into climbing? i climb for myself, no one else. idc if climbing a v14 is harder or easier than running a 2617 10k or jumping 2.25. it doesn't matter.running and climbing r 2 different sports, it's impossible to compare them and say which is harder. just think back to why you started climbing, was it because it was harder than running or was it because it freed your soul and it was just you and the rock, no one else, nothing else mattered?

  • There is no gauge for things that hard. They all fall under the category of "Physically impossible" unless you are Sharma or other genetically blessed super hero people. No one here can say "Climbing a V15 is easier than running a mile in 2 minutes". That is like saying shooting a basketball into a 12 ounce glass is easier than shooting one into a can of coke. Neither is possible for you.

  • @PopeJake89 calm down there buddy

  • i doubt it..

  • He can touch the top of a backboard(13 feet) Maybe he can jump higher than that. How tall is this boulder?

  • the top hold is a little harder to hang onto than a basketball hoop, just guessing.

Besides that, who cares? Quit trying to compare sports.

  • sharma is the best climber dude.....

  • Who is this clown? Dave Graham is that you?

  • Haha how observant

  • some dudes can touch the top of a backboard.

    fewer dudes can climb V15's.

  • wrong.

  • Let's say that if you can high jump 2.25 you can touch the top of a backboard (if you think that's fair).

67 guys on the iaaf list jumped 2.25 or higher in 09. Not counting guys who don't compete in high jump but can touch the top of a backboard.

How many guys climbed a V15 in 09?

  • How many people ate their own shoe in 09? Probably less than 67. That doesn't mean it's more impressive.

  • Everybody could eat their own shoe if they wanted. Not everybody could jump 2.25 or climb V15. The point is to estimate how many people can do something, and then use that as a guage of how difficult it is. It's not super accurate, but it's better than guessing.

Ex. I'm pretty confident that running a 2617 10k is harder than climbing a V15, since only one person has done the former, and a few have done the latter. Maybe more people could run 2617, but only one can/has do it for sure.

  • @ianedwards19 ,why would somebody eat hes shoes? O.o

  • @Dalamon1 ,why would somebody climb a rock?

  • @ianedwards19 ,you cant be serious, how can you compare climbing(or any sport) to shoes eating >o

  • @Dalamon1 ,this argument started 10 months ago.

  • i would want to buy a bouldering thing like that...my budget is from 4 to 6 thousand dollars, does any1 know if its enough to get something alike?

  • i think that would cost a bit more then 6 thousand? i bet they made it, could be wrong though... thats at the spot i think? maby call them??

  • you can build one out of wood and if there is enough holds on it it can be that cool , just make a worthwhile plan and get working!

theres also companies who make that type of wall and they also make some for everyone , even people at home , but i really dont know about the pricing

  • yep, be sure to make it large, wood is cheap.

  • yep, be sure to make it large, wood is cheap.

  • just get the book how to build your own indoor climbing wall its by afalconguide

  • Yes, and definitaly if you make it yourself!

  • That commentator probably messed him up.

  • god that announcer is freaking annoying. seems like the complete opposite of the mellow chris.

just shut up and let him climb!

  • Can you PLEASE just STFU and let the guy climb ffs

  • dude that announcer is getting on my nerves

  • troof

  • It's good to see someone like chris sharma mess up like this once in a while.

  • it put things into perspective. it isn't negative, it just means he is human just like the rest of us. and makes what he does more tangible for those who aspire to push themselves.

  • Chris Sharma is human? :0

  • @coolcow44 Nah, that's just a myth.

  • Thankyou! An intelligent comment. I agree.

  • OH!

  • amen to that brother!

  • that american commentator guy is annoying
