I hope Heather is taking her lessons. Also love the expressions on her face. I have started my lessons for Private Pilot. It is a joy I wish I would have realized earlier in life. Only 38, so still plenty of time to fly. Like HewCharles said, do not wish your life away. Find a way and do it. It is so beautiful up there!!
Looks like you young people in that Cessna are doing something good with your lives. I envy all of you! Drinking had my life so out of control and ruined my young dreams to fly. Been clean for 7 yrs now and am just getting my Private ticket at age 51.
I'm your age and I envy you. I never took a drink in my life.....but may as well have. I spoke to a flight instructor about finally taking flight training, since I finally had an income that could afford it. This was in August of 2001. I was working at United Airlines....and you know the rest of the story. United Airlines went into bankruptcy, stole our pension, and cut our pay. Went back on every contract they signed. 20 years of my life stolen. Never to fly. Better luck next life.
Congratulations! Huge accomplishment. Though if I may, don't wish your life away. Enjoy it while it's here. All of the sudden my flight training was over, and I miss it.
Yeah, well put it back in your pants loverboy because that's her boyfriend taking video. You might ask Derek if you can have a go, but I think you'll find he's too busy rubbing his big, fat, Anglo-Canadian sausage all over her creamy thighs right now to answer you..
First time i flew was in a cessna/small plane was at toronto island airport, much to my surprise i was put in the pilot seat, which i was excited and nervous because i only used flight sims at home. The instructor did his job, and my god, it was the best birthday gift i could of ever gotten, and now im saving for pilots licence!
subscribe to cessnaman293! i may not have any videos, but i am encouraging you, yes you, all plane lovers, pilots, and flight enthusiasts to subscribe, post more plane videos, and be happy! remember, dont forget to comment
Got my PPL for 4 years now, but haven't flown in a year because I can't afford it right now because of studying...I miss it soo much. Apart from sex flying is the best feeling there is. I shouldn't watch these movies because it makes me a little emotional about it but at the other hand it makes me remember how great it is. Thanks
Yeah it was a perfect song. The YouTube copyright police came down on me and told me to switch it. I guess I was stealing too much money from the celebrity rock stars.
NASA proved some time ago that monkeys can fly...On the other hand, judgment and common sense as you have probably seen on this site becomes the main obstacle between being a pilot and someone whom merely bores holes in the sky and or the ground...Go for it and good luck to ya!!!!!!!!!
Well you don't have to be very smart nor speak fluent English, because most of the talking you will do once you become a pilot are routine, its the same radio call over and over and over again. As for being smart, learning the physics of plane are pretty common sense and pretty simple.
I hope to god I never am a passenger in a plane your flying vinittailor.....
Being a pilot is a huge mental demand and requires a lot. You're constantly having to juggle multiple tasks, navigate, communicate, and fly the plane at the same time, while avoiding unsafe situations and distractions that come up. And in the united states, you do have to be able to read, write, understand, and speak english. That's straight from the FAR's (Federal Aviation Regulations)
No..I don't carry that "good looking" passangers...ha.. I don;t know if FAR talks about that cat....? let me know the section in FAR or AIM. Do you tie FAR/AIM on your *** by the way?
I wouldn't say you have to be smart to be a pilot. It just requires a lot of studying, focus, and hardwork. You've really got to want it. As far as speaking english, you should know it pretty well. You can speak another language over the radio but once an english person comes on you have to then be able to transfer to speaking english. You have to be able to speak it well too so you can hear and respond immeditly.
I absolutely agree with Kartkid024. By no means do you have to be a brainy individual. Truly, all you really need is passion. If you love aviation enough, you'll FIND a way to make everything come together, from flight experience, to studying for written exams, to verbalizing every aspect of aviation during your oral exam. All it takes is a dedicated heart.
Im making my PPL for 13K in austria. well thats not cheap, but the aircrafts (garmin 1000) are new and safe :) why is flying in europe so fucking expensive???
I just finished my first actual flight. My instructor let me control the plane from start taxi to taxi parking. It was a thrill. Now I just need the $12K to get my private
It is in deed 10-12k in canada at least. im currently going for my PPL startin ground school in few weeks. FAA requires 45 hours minimum but odds are and the average before your done is aprox as said above 70 hours flight about 15 solo
The look on her face is why I like to take people flying. I can only afford an hour or two a month (I rent), so I only take people who reallly want to fly. My wife likes to fly, but she gets airsick quite easily.
I have been a Private Pilot now for a litle over a year and nothing is better than taking up friends that have that glimmer in their eyes like Heather did in this video! Just reminds me of the great times I have while flying! Search for spin training, mostly done in the same plane you were in for this video for training purposes, but crazy fun!!
Flying is quite addicting. It opens doors.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) What does flying and aviation mean to females?
(2) Why do girls want to fly high and become a pilot?
(3) How can flying benefit a female’s personal life emotionally and physically?
(4) Through flying, what have female pilots proved and demonstrated to the world? or, What kind of social value(s) have female pilots brought up?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

Something, Help me to land in heavy crosswind, or over troubled water.

12k for private? You shouldn't have to spend more than 7k max. And that will put you at about 70 hours when it comes time for your checkride.
