i hate when girls say "um" all the time. it makes them seem so unintelligent! if you dont have anything left to say, then just stop talking! oh and if you do but are unsure of how to word it/say it, just take a moment to think, THEN continue what you were saying. you dont have to awkwardly say "um" or "so yeah".
well, in my speech class, it is bad practice to say "umm" that much. if you don't know what to say, just take a second and think before you let another "umm" out. It's hard to do at first but after a while it's easy to cut that out. yes, it's annoying..not a good habit
