I think that Finnick's death jarred Annie into sanity because she's able to focus when they contemplate making the capitol partisapate in one of their own games - just proves heartbrake is too strong for anything to hide from the heart

i really....loved the last book, left me wanting more but wanting less....you know what i mean? too much to handle....the deaths, i really didn't like finnick's death but it reminded me how he and katniss had gone through a lot in such a small amount of time. I felt deeply hurt when she saw HIS life go through her eyes, and also when in the book at the end, how peeta and her described finnick's sea green eyes....juts incredibly sad....
