@laurenmuic135 same with me, except I am definately getting a dog in 2 years time, probably within 6 months. Why don't you get him in a good mood. (Ex. fix dinner, do the dishes, etc. Treat him like it's his birthday!!!) then ask him if you can get a dog. Once he says no, ask why. Whatever he says, research/think up a solution. Tell him to give you any problems that he might have with a dog and give him an answer for all. For instance, he's worried the dog will bite everything. Tell him how to

[continued] stop the biting and show him an online tutorial about it. Or maybe he's concerned you won't walk your dog everyday. Prove to him you can by getting up and walking 3 times a day without a dog so he will know you can handle it. Also, if you have a friend with a dog, ask if you can walk their dog, and walk him with confidence. even ask your dad to come with you!!! good luck and hope this helps!

I think that Solea is just a genius dog who is easily taught all her tricks. I hare a four month old puppy right now that i've been working with everyday so far teaching him simple commands like sit and down and of course come. I would like to start working on tricks with him but he doesn't seem interested. Are there other commands i should teach him before moving on with tricks?

I started working and teaching her some basic things as soon as I brought her home. It was in the summer about a year and a half ago.
