  • I would have walked out after the first minute.

  • This is a brilliant analogy. And to add: It makes no sense to ask the person you're trying to sell the car to to prove that the car doesn't exist.

  • BRILLIANT!!! Amazing video.

  • Honda Prius ? you mean Toyota Prius ......

  • @pkidro I think you've found the hidden joke, not an actual mistake. But I've been wrong before.

  • @pkidro u see there is this thing in the world called... wait for it... a joke

  • @pkidro I think that's part of the joke >_>

  • I just saw a Honda Prius right before I saw this video. Open your mind and hearts, & you'll see Honda Prius'es too!!!

  • I went to this same car salesman the other day. He showed me the Honda. I told him that I believed in it. Then, he said, "Buyer, because thou hast seen the Honda, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." (John 20:29)

  • Brilliant!

  • What´s the meaning of the emphasis that the car is pre-owned? That there had been Gods before Christianity?

  • this is amazing!

  • This car sounds like a car that James Bond would drive.

  • thank's to the internet, more and more people are laughing at religions. I'll give it an other 200 years befor "religions" will be a thing of the past. Thank's internet !

  • @iRouRoui GOD I hope so ! lol

  • @iRouRoui Try 50. America is the last industrialized country with a religious majority! :)

  • @iRouRoui Nah. I would give it less than that. By the time we are telling our grandchildren stories, the comedy about people believing in the bible..

  • @iRouRoui you kidding me? Congress (people that are all publicly religous) will have tried to regulate the internet and take the freedom of speech we have on here and slow down the movement.

  • @iRouRoui I won't count it in years, but in generations. Like I'll give it possibly 4 to 5 generations , if we don't nuke ourselves by then.

  • @iRouRoui The only unfortunate thing about that is it probably IS gonna take 200 years D:

  • Truly, a masterpiece of comparisons. Bravo!

  • HA

  • Aw that's nice, you put your wife in the vid. ^^

  • was*

  • Great video, but I couldn't watch it to the end because it reminded me of why I hate religion so much.

  • Wait- Honda Prius?

  • Honda Prius?

  • Favorited ... well done!

  • Perfect analogy of the idea. Very good job.

  • That was awesome!! :D

  • I like the comment at the end "And don't be surprised if you start doing things you tell everyone else not to do"

  • Man your videos are amazing

  • I would've bought the car regardless.

  • gold. this is fucking perfect.

  • I can't decide if calling it a Honda Prius is an awesome meta-level misdirect, or if DarkMatter doesn't realize it's actually a Toyota Prius... Great vid none the less

  • If you don't believe that I have the car, you're going to spend an eternity in Hell.

  • Awesome video ... BAM!

  • Let's spin this, really quickly. Let's say that Buddahists were correct in their beliefs. You Christians lived the aame way they did, and now you're burning in hell. Does that sound omnibelevolent?

  • im a christian and i thought that was freakn hilarious!

  • dark matter, u are by far the funniest religious satirist i've seen on youtube.

  • This audio needs some serious editing. Too much shouting and otherwise clipping.

  • Why do all the women in this have such large breasts?

  • @cinifiend why not?

  • Great job on the animation and voice acting. Excellent analogy.

  • isnt it a TOYOTA prius?

  • @takeiteasyitsjustme Toyota Prius actually exist. Have you ever seen a Honda Prius?

  • @takeiteasyitsjustme That's the point... /facepalm

It doesn't actually exist. Just like god.

  • GOOD ONE!!!!!

  • 138 braindead persons and counting.

  • This car God has bald tires, peeling paint, and the only suspension is the suspension of disbelief!

  • 2 things wrong with comparing this situation with God.

1-A car you can walk out into the parking lot and see it. God you can't

2- While it says you will be punished for not believing that the car exists and not paying a huge amount of money you get sent to hell where if you read the bible or something it clearly states that all you have to do to not go to hell and live awesomely forever is just say hey there was this one guy who died on a cross and he was the son of God.

  • @zee470 your fucking stupid... 1 That is the whole idea behind the video. This car can't be seen because it is trying to resemble god! 2 AGAIN this is whole idea behind the video! How can you aknowledge that something exists if there is no proof for it? Do you still belief in santa? Or in this invisible car? in this video they are trying to explain the idea behind atheism on a really basic level. but it seems like it still isn't basic enough for you christians!

  • Comment removed

  • @LOGICandREAS0N i think my comment got deleted could you tell me what you where refering to?

  • @zee470 how do you know he was the son of God? oh yeah...........the book says so, so it must be true

  • @zee470 Oh, I only have to do that? So a killer who murders his entire family and rapes and pillages and steals and loots, but who believes in this will "live awesomely forever," (just read how childish that sounds, almost insultingly patronizing) but a good altruistic person who happen to have been an atheist or a buddhist deserves to go to hell and "burn forever." LOGIC, where is it?

  • Honda doesn't make Prius', Toyota does.

  • @EmperorT42 whoa! you must have a short attention span, or think you are a super sleuth as the last 2 seconds of the video acknowledges that the car name was a joke

  • @Lefraw212 Or, or maybe I posted that before finishing the movie, jackass

  • @EmperorT42 Right, which confirmed my suspicion of your short attention span. you couldn't give 6 minutes of attention to finish viewing the entire video.

  • @Lefraw212 I did finish the video, I just didn't wait to post the comment. Impatience and short attention span are NOT the same thing. I was being a little some thing called RASH. You can take a bit of enjoyment in now knowing that I do now wait for videos to end before posting my comments.

  • @Lefraw212 Not just a joke: IT DOESN"T EXIST...get it?

  • Perfect comparison, well done :)

  • lol liked it

  • she sounds Canadian to me for some reason.. ????

  • The girl has a fat ass pussy.....

  • haha x)

  • Fail. Terrible comparison.

  • @smileyorb please point out why it's a terrible comparison

  • @firebirdOOP123 No one would want to buy God.

  • @smileyorb

Actually it's about religions, not God. Now change the paradigm and rewatch the video )

  • @DrVladUs Superlogical lol

  • @smileyorb

Sarcasm or did you understand the video? )

    If first, why?

  • @smileyorb No not at all only for ignorant believers.

  • That's exactly why I am atheist.

  • Worst argument ever. Yup.

  • @SwollenCranium Agreed.

  • haha brilliant! :P

  • that is one some awsome car!

  • lol

  • If God were a car he would be a CHRISTler

  • @TEHTYMEKITTEH1 lol!

  • @TEHTYMEKITTEH1

i see what ya did there

  • The car is a Mercedes. I know because I drove it.

  • Religion is loses its credibility when you realise that you only have faith in the religion you do, based purely on the location of your birth or parents birth. You American? You Christian. You Indian? You Hindi. You Israeli? You Jewish. This can't be right, surely.....

  • @ZaPpaul Thats one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. There are Israelis who are Christians. There are Americans who are Jewish, Muslim, etc. To make such a blanketed statement like that is just stupid. Read a book sometime pal. Before your anti religious rant is blasted towards me, im not religious, so dont bother. But do some research before you open up your mouth. Moron.

  • @MrMoBidnizz I think you are talking about exceptions to the rule, and as I added the part about parents your 'facts' are covered already my me. Please think before you reply back with moronic claims. The vast majority of religions in those countries are as I stated, not as you seemingly think. Do you think that religion is not linked with geography? I suggest you read some books.

  • The woman has a cute voice.

  • @ChainsawVsGod until she starts nagging.

  • If you don't believe I have the car, you're committing war on on car sellers.

  • priuses' are toyotas.........

  • @DarkMatter2525 Oh NO! I converted from Nissan to BMW. Am I going to hell?

  • @zacrl1230 lol

  • @zacrl1230 nope. the bolkswagen beetle died for your sins. all you have to do is accept him as your personal vehicle. :D

  • lol the song at the end sounds like it should be an immortal technique song or something

  • The only choice people have is not about who's god is better, but on whata heck they are doing with themselves within earth.

So far,no matter what ideology, religion, faith or other type of stuff someone follows,There would still be people fighting and killing each other over dumb conflicts,like-

"you have taken my bike,so I will STAB you!"

How about stop debating over complete nonsense, and just try to view that something is deeply wrong with humanity-and it's up to Humans alone to face this issue!

  • @Wharwulif well, there's the problem, see? believers will say the problem is that you haven't accepted their god. 9/11, katrina, droughts, floods, earthquakes, AIDS, crime, any problem i can think of, there's always some blowhard godtard who will say it's because of sin, homosexuality, promiscuity, and other such shite. darkmatter2525, the atheist experience and such are doing a good job of trying to educate people and fighting ignorance.

  • @castelgandalf This type of ignorance is a constant disease-remove religion, and you remain with culture, remove culture-they you got prejudice...remove that, you got simple "it's the new guy",and after that you simply get the common people who blame each other for no reason, people Will find an excuse to cause ass conflicts.

To solve this problem you need to solve a deep core of human issues, religion is simply an overgrown manifestation of those issues, yet getting rid of that won't solve anything!

  • @Wharwulif the thought had come to mind, and i'm inclined to agree with you, but it might solve some of the problem of ignorance if in the act of renouncing his religion the believer realizes he has been following a bronze-age superstition to deal with some unmet needs, and tries to solve his needs with reason, following science and evidence rather than superstition and faith. just a thought, although you may be right, sadly.

  • @castelgandalf The idea is not to follow some faith,or follow science, science is just a tool, not an actual answer to anything.

The idea to change the ignorance is to follow morality, without any religion, without any type of worship or god, simply Morality-And the people who follow it will simply do it to be moral instead of fearing something or following "codes" and "traditions".

    Well,that's mission impossible.

Anyway, remove religion-you throw a Dice, and hope that it will lead into progression...

  • @Wharwulif I agree that science hasn't got an answer to everything, but why should we have all the answers?

Removing religion isn't mission impossible, look at Europa, China, ... they mostly have no religion. So your statement of throwing a dice is false, only if it is changed over time, not in an instant

  • @championkoppie There is no need for all the answers, but there also is no need to rape the world for dead-goals of expansion that leads no-where-Bigger is NOT better-people need to start realizing that, yet somehow this simple thing keeps evading them...interesting,ha?

China are worshiping their leaders,in Europe there are vast types of people, and they have enough cultural issues within them, while some are indeed rather ok has far has that goes,or at least I think so.

Wait for the next big event.

  • @championkoppie lol Europe is at least 45% Atheists, and those people that aren't Atheists are simply traped in there purposeless lifes, they don't have goals, they dont have ambition, they don't have anything, but there faith in there imaginary friend "almighty" god. They claim to be for the good side yet they based their life on question whether God exists or not and they "believe that he exists".

  • LOL even though I'm a catholic (sometimes a christian) I think this video is freaking hilarious lol

  • @3235Aldo It's even more hilarious that you are still a catholic (sometimes a christian) that laughs at this and doesn't see his own ignorance LOL

  • @zoth00 lol

  • its toyota prius or honda insight take your pick, they're both hybrids

  • Ha ha, "sign the paper and give me the money, and, one day, the car may reveal itself." Priceless.

  • @YoutubingWarrior Sounds like insurance companies if you think about it...

  • I didn't notice the Honda Prius till the end of it...

  • LOL nobody noticed HONDA PRIUS???? hahahha I so agree on this! eitherway we'll all see what happens once we're dead, or maybe not... so whats the hussle about.

  • Haha, the car is going to reveal itself...maybe...

  • but when it comes to global warming then they say its true just because it is about sience and a serious issue, ppl are so dumb

  • car = god , the girl = atheist , the car manager = theist , the people arguing about what colour the car was= other religions , the girl telling the car manager that he could of came where he was with a bike or on foot = theory of evollution and other theorys , the proof that the car excisted in the papers= the bible

  • @htfan199 The papers can exist independently of the car, and aren't concrete proof.

  • @htfan199 If the bible is proof of god, then why isn't a Star Wars book proof darth vader? You missed the point completely, by they way.

  • @htfan199 Oh woops, wrong person

  • @IOutDoSyndicate indeed. I was like \/\/TF?

  • If you want to have a "reasonable" view on the nature of the universe, you have to be open to the possibilities of everything that has not definitively been proven untrue, which nearly never happens.

  • All I'm saying is don't be so closed minded about it, there are plenty of things in the universe that seemed impossible or are in observable until the proper tools were found. Do you think we scientists look at a jar of hexane and say "oh, obviously this is the structure of this compound?" No! Until various types of spectroscopies came about, the structure of molecules seemed nearly as abstract as the nature of god.

  • @MrMakumakumaku Well the real problem is that abstraction comes from the fact that Religion is a human invention. Therefor they all have differing concepts.

  • One of the most convincing arguments I have come across is the idea that god is not a distinct being, but rather the conscious state of the universe ie, the universe is a massive body, and god is the mind. We all exist as a part of the greater whole, and god guides the universe here and there, but there is also individual capability in all parts of the universe. I would quote quantum and pchem here, which makes the argument much more convincing, but this is just an irrelevant internet post.

  • Don't hide your own inadequacies behind the guise of science. If you were a true scientist, you would not say god does not exist, you would say there is neither sufficient evidence for or against god. A majority of atheists argue against god from a standpoint of opposing Christianity, which is just as ignorant as saying Christianity is the only true religion. If you look into other religions, you find much more in terms of people views on what god could be.

  • Haha it's nice! XD Fuck god all this shit.

  • @glennjridge religion has been forced down our throats, on my children, in our schools, in our government, in our pledge of allegiance and on our money. An intelligent man makes a great point with some humor and you think we are being babies. Yeah, good point.

  • What happend to LovingDoubt?

  • I don't debate theists for the same reason I don't debate someone who thinks the Moon is made of cheese. It's like wrestling a pig. In the end you're covered in shit and the pig is still a pig.

  • @paramattic70 lots of people are responding to my post. I have no idea what this "the truth hurts" is supposed to mean.anyways, its enough for me to know you cant walk out in any direction of your house and pass by a church temple or mosque. meanwhile from what I can tell the only evidence of atheists in society is snarky bumper stickers...lawsuits over nativity scenes and obscure youtube forums. enjoy.

  • @glennjridge

    "church temple or mosque."

Represents 3 different incompatible religions. **AT LEAST** 2 of those must be wrong. Where's your evidence that one of them is correct?

  • @DNAunion islam/christianity/judaism ....branches of the same tree.

we praise the one true God praise be upon him.

  • @glennjridge

    1) Please give a plausible explanation for how a being can exist, think, and act, all in the absolute absence of time, matter, space, and energy.

    2) Please give a confirmable example of intelligence that is less complex than the simplest living organism today (let alone the simplest possibly living organism).

  • @glennjridge

    3) You never answered whether or not Jesus was divine. Why not? Because you know that doing so would point out the incompatibility of Christianity with Islam and Judaism, and your goal is to have them be unified in some sense.

  • @DNAunion being a christian I obviously believe jesus was divine. but that somehow cancels out islam/judaism? no. branches of the same tree.that has to be true, seeing as the jewish people are Gods chosen people. so how can I christian say that Gods chosen peoples torah isnt speaking of God the same as God in the koran or the bible. where we differ is on Gods son. jesus.

  • @glennjridge

"being a christian I obviously believe jesus was divine."

And both Jews and Muslims completely reject that claim. And that is a matter at the very heart of religion - who God is.

Christianity is incompatible with Judaism and Islam; those three religions have different names for a reason.

  • @glennjridge

A Muslim giving reasons why Jesus cannot be God.

    watch?v=YW99U4JWNEc

Muslims say you worship a false God. They don't consider your God to be real. "Who" is and is not God is about as meaningful a difference as there can be when it comes to religion. Islam and Christianity are at odds on central issues of religion.

  • @glennjridge

The God you worship has some stupid "three is one" 'mystery'. The God of Islam does not.

One of the three parts of the God you worship came to be contained in a lowly human form. The God of Islam did not, and cannot be contained like that.

One of the three parts of the God you worship was born, and later died. The God of Islam was not born, and didn't die.

Christians don't worship the same God as Muslims do, and Muslims don't worship the same God Christians do.

  • @DNAunion the trinity is a catholic concept. its not biblical.and of course jesus isnt God...Jesus is the son of God. THE... God ...of the OT...is the same God of the torah and the koran.hence why even muslims reffer to us as "fellow believers of the book".

  • @glennjridge

"the trinity is a catholic concept"

Nope. Protestants - except for the small number of Unitarians - also accept the Trinity.

PS: Now, if you mean Catholics came up with the idea of the Trinity, then your statement is meaningless; they came up with the concept of most all of Christianity.

  • @glennjridge

"Most Christians believe in the doctrine of the Trinity ("tri-unity"), a description of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, which retains the monotheistic belief of Christianity's Abrahamic heritage through an ineffable confluence. This includes the vast majority of churches in Christianity, although a minority are Non-trinitarians."

  • @DNAunion there is no trinity. there is God..the father...and God the son. I mean, you are going to have a hard tuime explaining who exactly who the messiah was praying to in the garden when he asked "if ti be thy will that this cup pass from me". obviously, the father and son are seperate beings hence the tinity is nonsense. that a majority christians might believe in a trinity is harmless.

  • @glennjridge btw, I meant God..the father...and the son of God, jesus.

  • @glennjridge

"there is no trinity. there is God..the father...and God the son"

A view which is at odds with the majority of Christian denominations.

And, of course, you can't provide any evidence to support your claim that there even is a God.

  • @glennjridge

Debating about whether or not Jesus was God is as meaningful as debating whether or not Rudolph had a red nose ... unless you can provide valid evidence that your God even exists.

PS: Your non-Trinitarian form of Christianity just helps SUPPORT what the video is saying.

  • @DNAunion you cant prove that a deity doesnt exist. its the reason why you and me have to put " we believe" rather than "I know" . you dont know. I dont know. the reason why this debate goes round and round is proof of that. you are in as much of a tangle as we are. you have to argue its more sane that matter turned living somehow over 9 billion years....and along with that...came vegetation, fruit etc etc. two concepts that go hand in hand.

  • @glennjridge

"you cant prove that a deity doesnt exist"

And you can't prove that magical, flying, invisible, unicorns don't exist.

PS: The video already made fun of your "retort". You are now just making a fool of yourself.

  • @DNAunionbut I am not talking a flying unicorn. I am talking......a creator.

what that entails I have no idea...I just know most people on the p;anet eaerth find..."thecosmosdidit" unacceptable. instead of a inventor iventing a car...in atheist land...the process is, car just came into existence. consider us both fools.

  • @glennjridge

"instead of a inventor iventing a car...in atheist land...the process is, car just came into existence"

    Nope, not at all.

Can't you theists ever NOT be assholes?

  • @DNAunion you called me an asshole again. we are done. with you...we get a lil taste of that "world without religiion" you types are always talking about. and goign by your nasty meanspirited atitude it shows it would be "meet the new boss...just the same as the old boss". you swearing comes out of frusteration. sorry, but ...cosmosdidit...is irrational. its the reason why you cant walk out of your house in any direction without passing a church temple or mosque. you ended the debate angry guy.

  • @glennjridge

"you called me an asshole again"

Because you acted like an asshole again.

Which part of this it too hard for you to understand -- you act like an asshole, I'll call you an asshole. When you don't act like an asshole, I won't call you an asshole.

  • @glennjridge

    Bye, loser.

Better luck next time trying to convince people that your God exists when you can't supply even just ONE SINGLE piece of valid, objective, positive evidence in support of your extraordinary claim.

  • @glennjridge

    1) You never did supplly a plausible explanation of how a being can exist, think, and act, all in the complete absence of matter, energy, time, and space.

    DNAunion: 1

    glennjride: 0

  • @DNAunion

    2) You never were able to provide any example of intelligence being less complex than the simplest possible living thing.

    DNAunion: 2

    glennjridge: 0

  • @glennjridge

    3) You never did overcome the logic I gave that - because God would be 'inifinitely' greater than the entire current universe and all of its ultracomplex life - accepting God can exist without a cause is far less rational that believing that the entire currenct universe and all of its ultracomplex life just exists without a cause.

Then there's the fact that naturalism doesn't even start with the current unvierse and all its life.

    DNAunion: 3

    glennjridge: 0

  • @glennjridge

    4) I can supply scientific - repeatable, falsifiable, objective, etc - experiments supporting many of the steps needed for the origin of life. You cannot supply any scientific experiments supporting the origin - or existence - of your God.

    DNAunion: 4

    glennjridge: 0

  • @glennjridge

    5) You - with your theistic position - are the one making extraordinary claims (human virgin birth, intelligence in the absence of time, space, matter, and time, etc.), and you cannot supply extraordinary evidence supporting your claims.

You cannot meet your burden of proof, and so I prevail by default (my having shown reasons why your position is inferior is unneded icing on the cake).

    DNAunion: 5

    glennjridge: 0

  • @glennjridge

    "consider us both fools."

No. Of the two of us, only you have shown the qualities of a fool.

  • @glennjridge

"you are in as much of a tangle as we are. "

Not at all. You and the other theists are the ones making the extraordinary claim -- that an impossible, magical being exists, and so on. And you don't have any extraordinary evidence - let alone any valid, objective, positive evidence whatsoever - to support your beliefs.

Burden of proof lies on the theists. Atheists prevail without even having to lift a finger, as long as theists can't meet their burden of proof.

  • @DNAunion the burden obviously doesnt rest with the religious seeing as atheists aparently go thru great lengths of time to counter what we say. you have a point only if you ignore us like, say a hobgoblin. get involved, and you are validating there is" an issue" and a deity existing isnt off the table.
